CoD has so many game disks out that its hard to keep track of them all, has to be at least 20 or so plus expansions

Was it BF2 that older forum members use to play a lot? When I first got on evga, maybe I'm remembering wrong, but wasn't BF2 actually worth a dern?

When GameSpy folded it took down a lot of EA games, so now all that remains is the campaign

^ BF2 lives on my friend. A group started with the intent to bring it back, have files you download and you can retrieve your old BF2 account and continue with stats that will be tracked. Good number of servers are up and have had np finding a game. theres also tons of servers for all the popular BF2 mods.  Spread the word.  http://battlelog.co/ 
 
@ Knight   would have been BF2 or BF 2142 if it was around then.  and yea BF2 was a huge game, it only released on PC. It took some of my friends a couple years b4 they even had a PC that could run it. AMD was > Intel, ATI and Nvidia were more evenly matched...man those were great times to be a PC gamer or PC enthusiast. 
 
on another note preload is up for the Battlefront closed alpha.

Thanks faded, i will post that on the BF4 forum for those who, like me, own a license to the game.
 
I have BF3 and BF4 but I am holding off on Hardline until I see what is going on with their servers and changes in browser security etc.

Now that I'm seeing unscripted and un-edited footage from the "Alpha" I'm even less impressed with what I've seen today.

This doesn't mean that I think the game is bad; I'm just not thrilled with it. Perhaps I'd like it better once I play it or see other maps/modes.

As MSIM indicated before, EA/DICE ought to stop short changing the PC version.
