Loved the last one. This looks right up my alley. About time we start getting some new good games. It felt like a drought the last few months and I was getting ready to throw in the towel.

Not worth the purchase of an Xbox 1, I did grab a ps4 for Bloodborne though.

I really enjoyed the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot
I confess I'm interested in playing the sequel, but I will definitely wait for a PC release.

Not sure why they're leaving us PC users out at the launch. Loved the last one.

Meh, early '16 release according to Pgcmoore, and with Fallout 4, Just Cause 3, and possibly Deus Ex:MD & XCOM 2 in that time frame....I can wait.

Honestly though, speaking of female protagonists, where the heck is Mirror's Edge 2???

amazon says Dec. 31  2016, hope its a misprint, but more than likely just a guestiment'
( i was hoping for a first week '16 release)

but, there will be plenty more options to spend money on,

    my list >  http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2378455

MS and SE made a bad decision trying to use this game as a selling point for Christmas xbox stocking suffers, ( i can already vision the gaudy TR and H5 special Edition' XB1 in camo white ) all the money will be gone and all the luster in the eyes of pc gamers will have worn off, leaving only a bad taste... i'm guessing they will release these a week after Doom(sday)....
...then we can pick it up on Steam for 30 bucks

Microsoft made a deal for a timed exclusive to get first in best dressed, as stakeholders are a priority for any business.

I'm simply happy it was a timed exclusive and not a release exclusive.

Looks like a lot of the stuff from the last release but more of it and more refined. That's good, because the last one was simply a lot of fun.

I love how the game pretty much bombs on the Xbone so they quickly end up releasing it on the pc. All in the name of recouping their losses but hey can't actually blame them for trying. I'm actually interested in getting this game.

Really? Does the vsync actually work in this one? Heh yes I know weird question but for whatever reason in Tomb Raider(2014) the vsync never actually worked. I'm one of those who has to have it on or the screen tearing will drive me nuts.

The game was always only a timed exclusive for the Xbone, it was never a full exclusive.

Yes I know that however if I recall correctly it wasn't suppose to come out this quickly for the pc yet.

It was always just a 2015 Xbone exclusive, nothing more.  Microsoft paid them lots of money to have it exclusive for a set amount of time, there is no way they would have released it earlier than the contract allows; oherwise they would have to pay Microsoft back.

If I recall correctly the initial PC port was originally planned to release sometime mid 2016 and on the PS4 at the end of 2016. It really sucks for the devs, Crystal Dynamics, cause the first reboot was really good and Rise of the Tomb Raider got good reviews but gets a smaller player base at launch and will likely be forgotten once the PS4 version is released.
