Dead Watercooled GTX 480, what will I get in RMA?

My trusty (hot and power-hunry) eVGA GTX 480 finally died last weekend. It's been running pretty cool under my water loop for years and years, but finally died.
 
eVGA has one of the best warranty programs around, but I'm wondering what they'll do for me. Warranty is still good even though I water-cooled it right, and are they replacing these with 480's? Or will I get something else as a replacement. Just curious if anyone else has dealt with this as of late. I'd love to step-up, but yeah, that's a no go.

    Im sure if you put the OEM heatsink and fan back on they will accept it.

    last time i had to rma it was a GTX 260.they sent me a GTX 470 as replacement.

    Put back stock cooler and eVGA will do their magic :)

    There is a chance they could repair it for you. Their engineering team is fantastic.
     
    I am curious to why you do not want a step up card? Is it because the water block/ custom loop you have set is meant only for the 480?
