Is EVGA supplying amazon with enough AIO cooler kits? I ordered my kit on the may 27 and amazon still says Arriving Wed, Jun 17 - Wed, Jul 22 with no further updates. :/

I really need the AIO cooler to push past 1.23v with the Titan.

the wait time posted for the 980 AIO is 1-2 months(titan not available if you care about keeping the titan name on the shroud). As with any timeline posted, people always hope for the soonest but it mostly turns out to be the latter with a few lucky peeps in between. The 980 ti AIO just recently posted on Amazon but with no projected wait time yet (kinda like, "we'll let you know when we know" thing) so you at least got some kind of confirmation although keep in mind that the date for the 980 is "expected"

If all of this is that urgent then I would think that a strategy of signing up for the in stock notifications for both newegg and evga while using amazon as a safety net. Hopefully through the other means, if you're lucky, you can get one sooner. If not then eventually you'll get one through amazon. And if all of this is super urgent then there are 3rd party solutions available.

Amazon shows 1-2m anytime an evga product is out of stock it seems.

    Christ that's a long wait

I really want to cancel since the unacceptable backorder times but I need the item...

Est Jul 22 and still no change to shipping details.

Can EVGA take some action to bumholes reselling the units for 300usd on ebay? Maybe send a request that they're impacting the company's image or something.

I wouldn't get that excited anyway. It's *much* louder than the Titan X reference or ACX cooler when idling. If you've ever had a GTX reference 980 and gamed with it, the load noise level of the 980 ref cooler is roughly the idle noise level of the evga hybrid cooler. Changing fans won't help much because it's radiator pump noise.

Currently even with ONLY 1.23v on the BIOS and default NVTTM fan at 100% (4800RPM) I can't get the core below 65c. If the gpu hits over 65c the core will throttle 13mhz.
So now you would suggest I cancel the order and backorder an ACX Cooler for Titan X?

How can you say that the AIO cooler is bad? Have you tested yourself or tried to repaste/replace fan?

I will replace the fan later on with Gentle Typhoon push/pull. Do you think that would help?

Does EVGA have an installation manual on Titan X ACX cooler?

This is just not true at all in my experience. I have used my reference 980Ti SC for a couple weeks now and installed the hybrid kit on it tonight. First of all I don't have any audible pump noise sitting 3 feet away from my PC (my case is closed but I have somewhat of a mesh side on my case, top is mesh) that others are experiencing, at least not yet. None. I only hear some fan noise and it is not at all bothersome at idle. The radiator fan noise is just a slightly louder "whoosh" sound at idle. It sounds like I added a couple quiet case fans to my case is how I'd describe it. Idle noise with the hybrid kit is nowhere close to load noise of the card with the standard reference cooling. That's just nonsense based on my firsthand observations. The AIO kit is amazing so far for me. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Edit- On stock bios my max stable OC so far is 1476mhz. Reference cooler my temps maxed between 74-80 degrees with fan speed up to 85% once temp got to 80. With the hybrid cooler this same OC max temp is 47 degrees in benchmarks, haven't stressed it gaming yet. At that temp my PX profile has fan speed at 47%. So taking into account the blower cooler part of the card, that fan runs nearly half as fast under load with the hybrid cooler. The hybrid at idle is nowhere near that level of noise and is certainly far quieter under load. If you're expecting silence try a custom loop. For everyone else who wants to go the AIO route a bit more noise at idle is worth a nearly 30 degree load temp drop IMO.

Have you tried the cyclops3 1.274v 425w TDP bios found in the OCN titan X owners club?
