I'm curious of this as well..hopefully they aren't phasing this out for the new PSU's coming out in the next couple of months. Really wanted to upgrade to this one.

Maybe you should check on other places if someone of them have enough 1200 P2 models maybe EVGA will wait little to people clean that first.
Where is shortage, USA or Europe?

OK, that's nice... if you have so big discount why not 1600 T2, you will pay same as 1200 P2 new.
9.9 Total Score, 1600W Titanium. Eternally. You can pull out fan freely.
When I saw picture... no comment... four of these Nippon Chemi-Con caps...
    Power cord 12 Gauge C19/C20 ...

But 1200 P2 is great, I have that model.

I PM'd Jacob about it but received no response. I am guessing that with the new 1200 Titanium power supplies coming out soon they will be replacing the platinum models. I keep checking every day and they are not coming back in stock it seems. I'd love to buy this power supply but it doesn't look very probable.

Edit: The 1000 P2 is also on 'auto notify'. I am definitely going with all the 'P2' power supplies are being phased out for the 'T2' models that will be coming in August.

What they will not make any more 1200 P2.
Thanks god I have mine. But never mind 1000 P2 and 1000 T2 will be still most wanted models because power.
Over 1000W demands is lower and lower with stronger units. 1KW proper power for most gamers.
No reason to go on lower units. Johnny Guru  explain that nicely... People complain on noise and heat but their configuration force PSU to work 80-90%.
When someone need 750W and install 1KW situation is much better, fan spin under 1000RPM or not spin at all.

That mean people need to hurry up if they want best scored EVGA PSU 1200 P2.
On newegg 1200P2 have 20 five starts from 21 user, and one comment with one star because guy say cables are short.
Amazon say 19 on stock, 239$. Than you will see him on pictures only.

    Why?

I think that SF build for EVGA every series some number of power supplies and they will continue to sell most wanted models.
They will offer 1000 T2 for similar price as 1200 P2 and more people go on 1000W.
Many people have some stupid aversion from stronger PSU they really need.
More people will buy 1000W Titanium for same money as 1200W Platinum. They will change maybe and some other models later.
They will maybe to offer 1000W-1300W-1600W.

Where did you hear that they were not manufacturing any more 1200 P2's? I called customer service the other day, and the rep I spoke with (forgot his name) said that they were not discontinuing the 1000w and 1200w P2's, and would be restocking them sometime in the near future. Either your info is wrong, or the EVGA rep's info is wrong. Not saying you're definitely wrong, but I don't see why the rep would have said that unless he knew for sure.

They haven`t been on the site in over 2 months , and they have no clue when they`ll get them in so take what you want from that.
I have no facts to base it on, and EVGA has not given me any facts on whether or not they will be stocking them again.
I have not gotten 1 reply from anyone about it being restocked in 3 weeks, this is more about not wasting the 50% off deal, for those that have it.

That`s why I posted the question. I did not want to waste it and my 30 days was down to nil so I ordered the 1300 G2.

Good, my EVGA Black Sleeve Cables arrived today, I order before several months, I told guy scam me, and GSKill DDR4 arrived, now I have two DDR4 kits.
Dominator Platinum 2666 and GSkill 2800, never mind I will sell one, Serbian shops never saw such kits... I will still decide what to keep,
Dominator is nicer, GSkill little faster. I was completely sure I will must to sue him, so much that I bought second DDR4 kit.
Finally cables are HERE for my 1200 P2.

My white set will be here in a few hours,  the new 1300 G2 will be here next Tuesday, should look sweet
GSkill is great memory, but I would keep the Dominator, you can`t get better then that, it`s doubtful you`d be able to run the gskill at 2800 anyway. I would say test both sets, but then you`d have to open the package, just return the GSkill.

Excellent, I love these EVGA packages...
I would keep Dominator except if GSkill work on 3000MHz C15 C16 than it would be madness to keep Dominator on 2666 C16.
Yes I will test both sets and one to sell, I will need money for TITAN X SC...
No I can sell for 200e here, anyway buyer will ask if they work and I could test them.
Model is F4-2800C16Q-GRK, Black kit 4x4 planned for some black board as R5E Black or something else...but still no sign of R5E Black.
They have some silver sign on them April 2015... exactly when I ask them from Germany, and sticker is there... first time I hold GSkill in hands...
Depend everything of modules inside... I think CORSAIR install Samsung in slower and Hynix in faster Dominator Platinum, GSkills are 99% Hynix.

What you think...in Serbia is Kingston HyperX Beast 2800 4x4GB 270e...
I would rather pay to someone 200e for GSkill than Kingston...
    I will ask 200e...?

It all boils down to what they will run at and what your winsat mem scores are.
At high speeds you`ll never notice the minimal differences between the 2 sets in real life usage, only in the benchmarks.
So it really comes down to looks

I`m looking to replace my 3 month old Trident X 2400 16 GB set with a 32 GB set of D Platinum at the same speed or maybe 2666.

    Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64 / Asus Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1 / Intel Core i7 6700K @ 4.4 GHz

Yes, you are right... why is not here one X99 Classy just to check why people complain.
Speed is not visible, I advice everybody to search for 2666 or 2800 kits, except if they have money to pay...
All money invested in memory speed should be transfer in graphic card power. No GPU overkill.

Now I look these sleeve box like that's something special, I still didn't open, I enjoy to box... EVGA - Power Supply Cable Set...xexe xexe...
I don't know who buy now extensions when these cables are available and compatible with all 650/750/850 G2 and P2 models...
If you collect all extensions, five + five bucks and easy you pay them 60-70$ for everything, and they are not 5$ they are 8-10$.
Extensions only make mess, I advice all people to use sleeve cables or fabric cables from PSU, better without sleeve than Extensions.
OK If someone need big case and need longer cable and use 8pin CPU longer, but visual extensions are not for me at all.

Only TITAN X miss me now...
I would play games 24h without stop...

TITAN X SC is my love. And later to collect money for waterblock and EK X-Res and Coolstream PE or Hybrid is excellent.
I know you love GTX980Ti and I love Classified and KP Classified and reference and ACX 2.0 and Hybrid but TITAN X with black reference cooler...
I can't explain...I have 5820K and for him is single card perfect. SLI is for i7-5960X.
Single card 12GB for 2 years for me just as I need. But GTX980Ti is fantastic too.
Maybe is solution GTX980Ti for gaming some time and than to save little more money and sell for TITAN X SC.
I would save money and go on EVGA TITAN X not SC if he can work with flashed SC BIOS. But that's risk and price difference is not so big.

I keep PSU with fan grill on top... But maybe I will turn my as your... I can't decide what is better,
EVGA sign on grill on top or EVGA fonts on panel with connectors if I turn PSU as you.
Maybe I will even install with X99 as you to protect from dust, anyway fan not work and than EVGA logo will be visible near cables.
EVGA power supplies look nice in all cases, some manufacturer don't want to pay attention how their PSU case will look inside some case and than made funny stickers.

Your fan doesn`t work ? That`s not good.
I keep mine on all the time, it`s better for the PSU.

The Titan X is great if you can afford it, you better have a lot of memory in your computer, at least 32 GB.

That's good to hear, I almost just got the 1600W version because I read here the 1200 was being discontinued.

Any idea as to when the EU version PSUs will be in stock in the EU store? I was thinking of using the 50% off offer to upgrade my AX860 to something more beefy!

Wow, will there be any problems if I ship back my 1300 G2 ?
I haven`t even recieved it yet, it`ll be here Tuesday.
I`ve been waiting a while for the 1200 P2 and I`d much rather have that.

Just talked to EVGA and they said I could just refuse delivery, but, he said the 1300 is a very good power supply, so I`m on the fence with this decision.
He assures me there are no issues with the 1300 G2.
Any more input from you guys would be appreciated.

Well the gold certified models don't do semi-passive fan mode. I would be fine with the G2-series otherwise, but I like the silence.
