I'm looking to upgrade my monitor from a 144hz Asus 1080P monitor as I just purchased 2 GTX 980 Ti's. What would be a good monitor for around $550. I was looking at a Asus PB287Q but unsure. Is a better 2k monitor out there for around $550?

Asus MAXIMUS Z790 HERO
I9 14900K
64GB DDR5 Dominator Titanium
RTX4090 STRIX
Corsair HX1500W
Asus Helios
Samsung 990 PRO

What specifics are you after?  As there are several things to look at in a monitor, please give us some feedback and we can make educated suggestions by something other than our own personal preferences.

    Higher res?
Lower seek time, if so what is your current monitors?
Size, what do you have now, and do you want bigger, same size, smaller?
Aspect ratio, are you looking for an standard widescreen (16:9) or an ultra wide (21:9)?
    Panel type? (TN, IPS, etc)
Connection options (DVI, DP, HDMI, etc)?
    Bezel thickness?
    Glossy or Matte?
    VESA mount?
    Onboard speakers?

Give us a bit more info on what specifically you are wanting and I'm sure there will be several here to help out.

+1. I never had a bad monitor from ASUS. Never any dead or stuck pixels.
