Besides Bitcoin what other coins should you mine. ex: dogecoin litecoin
Like altcoins.

    Right now, none of them are profitable for CPU/GPU mining unless your electricity is free

    Yeah, you're best off just using an Antminer ASIC or something of the like to mine nowadays.
    I used to mine LC a while back with my old 7950's (when it was still worth $40 a piece) but now since the price has dropped so far I don't even consider it an option anymore. Pretty much just killing the gpu's for no reason.

    Thanks to the impression of many that mining with GPU is no longer profitable, at the moment mining with Maxwell GPUs, especially 750Ti and GTX970 are still profitable to mine alt coin, especially Quark algo. You need to treat mining as hobby and read a lot of forums and blogs to be updated. Suggestion is to regularly check out:

    There are new coins like Dashpay or Smartcoin that use algorithms like X11 that are ASIC resistant are meant to be mined with a GPU/CPU. If you want to mine with your GPU try those coins or other coins that work with the X11 algorithm.
