Hey guys/gals,

I consider myself very lucky and fortunate to have gotten this 980 TI Hybrid. Loving it so far. It's fast and can handle anything I throw at it. One gripe is that this thing is louder than my reference card I had earlier. The sloshing/bubbling sound this card is making is really getting to me. I have my PC in the living room and can hear it when I am watching TV or reading. I have tried mounting the radiator in differrent locations. Shaking it up a bit to get the bubbles/air out of it, but no luck.

I really hope I'm not being overly "nit-picky", but the bubbling/sloshing sound is really getting to me. Any assistance or ideas to get it to stop would be appreciated! Thanks and happy gaming.

The air bubbles should work their way to the top of the system naturally.... at that point you really shouldn't hear the water moving around much. Sounds like it could be a defective unit.

How long has the card been running now?

Thanks for the reply. It has been running since June 11th. Initially I didn't notice the bubbly sound (maybe just negligence), but recently it has gotten more aggressive sounding (like more air is entering the system).

Similar issue in the Corsair forums where some AIO CPU coolers were reported to have air bubbles stuck in the pump and people layed their rigs down on the side and run (an hour, a day or two even) like that to clear them out..Just a thought..Could just be defective too like mokkema said..Shaking it up like you did might even worsen the problem, if it's air..Quite a few of the Corsair AIO CPU coolers were in fact noisy/defective..If it don't go away, contact EVGA support.

Thanks for the input man. I will definitely try laying it down for a bit to see if it helps. Already contacted EVGA support and am talking with them now. I will report back to see how this goes, thanks again.

thinking about buying this card, can I place the radiator on the bottom of my tj07 case or it has to be above the graphics card ?

I've seen the rad mounted above, in-line, and below the GPU on here. As far as I know you can mount it anyway that works best for your set up.

Where/how do you have the radiator mounted? Also do you have the inlet/outlet tubes for the radiator on the top or bottom?

What I mean is what is the radiator orientation? See below, top or bottom? If on top try with the tubes on the bottom side.

Secondly, try positioning the radiator higher than the pump.

    just got even worse :/
looking for leaks now, no sign of any leaks, but it definitely sounds like it was getting some more air in the system :/
getting a bit worried over here, any warranty if the unit leaks and kills my rig with water?

Your reservoir is upside down, you have air in your system.
