Is there a reason when the store doesn't show any cards above the GTX 750 for sale? I couldn't buy two GTX 770 Dual Classified when I got my first one, and am thinking about running SLI soon.

The 700 series is EOL. The only space not filled in the 900 series is the X50 slot. So the 750's are still available for now. But if/when a 950 is released then the 750's will go away. Your best bet is in the market place when you get 50 posts here in the forums or EBay.

Wow, that sucks. I would expect something like the higher up 770s and 780s to be nowhere near end of life. My GTX 770 Dual Classified can handle pretty much any new game at max settings.

They go EOL so they don't compete against themselves. For example, The 780Ti would be a competitor to the 970, and probably still cost more. So they would just end up holding onto GPU's forever because most people would rather have the newer GPU.

Personally, I'd still rather have my card over any of the 900s. Sure, they're nice, but I love my 770. Except for those white lights on the side. I wish they were more adjustable.

I been running a MSI 770GTX 4Gb card and it's been a very stable card with just enough to keep me up to date with games but my next card will be DX 12.

Don't most benchmarks put the 780 Ti as faster than the 970? And in several cases (not all) faster than the 980? Which makes sense as to why you don't want an old flagship, now selling new around 400 dollars, stealing sales from the new one at 550 dollars.
