yea Same here. Why it take such a long time to bring that fix for SLI users,it's doesn't make sense ,to have 2 or more cards,and unable to use DSR, which is suppose to make more sense to get advantage of it, using SLI.

I'm using two EVGA GTX Titans in SLI + ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q + 347.09 drivers and DSR is definitely not available. It only activates when I disable SLI :(

Hmm, interesting. I'm using two GTX 780 Ti in SLI (not EVGA though, in fact they are both different manufacturers, Gigabyte and Palit), and I can enable DSR through the control panel, GFE and ingame.
EDIT: Driver version 347.25

I have 2 EVGA GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0, ASUS Hero VII, driver 347.25 and DSR works (Tried with earlier version of drivers and no issue with DSR).

I have 2 980 SC's - ASUS ROG Swift Monitor .... I don't have the DSR option either!! Has anyone figured this out? Does it have something to do with the resolution maybe? 2560x1440 and above don't need it? Answers please...

I'd like to get some more info on this as well. I previously had 2x 970s and never had a single issue enabling DSR. I recently stepped my my 970s to 980s and now I have no option for it. Like others it enables fine with SLI off. I've tried multiple drivers and all yielded the same results. It's odd that some are able to use it and others aren't.

I just experienced this same issue, hence why I was on this thread, but fixed it while reading. I simply reinstalled the latest driver, chose "custom", and clicked the box to perform a clean installation. You might want to give that a go. Edit: Disregard. I forgot the driver reset SLI status on reinstall =/

Hi guys, while I was looking into this again after some time had passed, I was certain I had seen some kind of chart about this. Searched a bit and found it, this should help you guys out:

I knew SLI support for DSR was added in some driver at some point, I was just disappointed to find out it will not work with my Asus ROG Swift yet.

Here's something to add to my post above. Before when I had my 2 970s and DSR was fine I was running over HDMI. When my 980 step ups were being processed I ordered an AOC U3477(21:9) monitor. I had also connected my 970s to my 4k TV but I damaged that high speed cable and only had 10gb/s cables so I had never bothered connecting my 980s to my TV. Today I picked up a 18gb/s cable to connect to my 4k and immediately I noticed DSR was available. I found that really odd but it sparked my curiosity. So I connected that 18gb/s cable to my AOC monitor and BAM! DSR is available.
So is this a display port issue? Do I have a low speed DP cable?

That's actually a nice find! I run SLI with Gsync so I'm still waiting for actual support for that, but I tried turning off Gsync to try out DSR with just SLI, only to find out it would not appear for me. Turning off SLI works obviously. The DP cable that was supplied with my Asus ROG Swift has an unreliable connector, I guess it's just broken. So I was planning to replace it anyway sometime soon, I'll be sure to get the max bandwidth option ;)

I thought DSR just wasn't supported in SLI right now, is there any way to know if it is or isn't?, same goes for MFAA, works in single card mode, but not SLI for me, the options just aren't there. edit: ah, just saw the chart, so DSR has limited support for extra high resolutions, so my 4k monitor won't do say, 5k on SLI, but a 2560x1440 will.

I can confirm it does not work on my Titan X SLI + Asus Swift Gsync LCD. Works if i go single card, though. Using stock Swift display port cable, didn't think i had to "upgrade" that.

You guys with SLI can try downsampling if DSR does not work for you. Go to Nvidia Control Panel>Display>Change Resolution>Customize>Enable resolutions not exposed by the display checked>Create Custom Resolution> Increase Horizonal pixels and Vertical lines (ex. 2560x1440 increased to 2880x1620)> Click Test (screen will go black and come back with "test successful, do you want to save this resolution?" Click Yes.

I have Win 8.1 Pro, 2x GTX 970 and the DSR option wasn't available for me either and Im on an LG34UM95 non gsync monitor, and it wasn't available under the individual game options, but was available under global... Don't know if this will help anyone looking for it. Is it always under Global?

Guys the issue is simple but annoying. I have two monitors hooked in. Wasabi mango 42 inch 4k with displayport. 1920x1200 monitor with hdmi. So when SLI is disabled, both monitors show DSR options. SLI enabled, DSR options disappear when i make wasabi mango 42 inch the main monitor in windows. But as soon as I make the 1920x1200 display the main display in windows, boom dsr options are back. WTH. please nvidia this is not a good thing you are doing to your customers.

So wait this has something to do with cabling or ports? how does one know if their DP cable or port is damaged? I get 4k 60hz..... any tests? and also if damaged is the problem. then why do i see DSR option as long as I disable the SLI option. i just don't get it man. Anyways, what cable did you buy, could amazon link me it? thanks.

GUYS, I have read through the whole internet, and I have found the exact issue that is taking place here. so here i go....
the issue is with displayport+SLI. period. there is nothing anybody can do to fix it. we sit and watch now for nvidia to fix it.
i think this has something to do with in the driver where the driver confuses a displayport monitor with a g-sync one and we know g-sync DSR with SLI is not possible. DAMMIT, after all the money i spent.

ive been having the same problem but with a standard hdmi 1920x1080 screen trying to run 4k as it is the "optimal" resolution for some of my games i currently have two OCed evga gtx 980 acx sc cards and dsr does not work on single card or during sli (the dsr option does show up for me durigng sli) has anyone found a fix since the latest 358.91 drivers havent helped much with the problem thanks for anyones response

I have had sli 970 and now sli 980 ti's... The DSR is under the global tab, not the individual games tab and only with SLI disabled.....

i would think thats its a driver issue since it worked when i was using windows 8, but when i switched to windows 10 and used the w10 drivers it didnt work at all. i guess we'll have to wait for dsr to be fixed through the updates. or if possible get a screen that has the quality you want, but im not willing to spend more money and get a 4k monitor instead of waiting for dsr to be fixed
