I have installed the Z97_WiFi driver from the EVGA website, which appears to also contain the EVGA bluetooth driver:

Is this some driver incompatibility issue? Has anyone gotten bluetooth to work with windows 8.1?
 
 

I have tried several devices: keyboard, mouse, windows phone,...
I have verified that these devices are working by connecting them to another computer via Bluetooth.
 
I want to use a Bluetooth mouse (MS Sculpt Comfort Mouse) and keyboard (MS Sculpt Mobile Keyboard) with the EVGA Z97.
 
Could this problem be due to a bad external antenna or a poor connection to the external antenna? I'm pretty sure I've connected the external antennae properly, as the WiFi is working properly. However, the antenna connections are a bit fiddly.
 
I was also wondering if there is a specific driver for the Bluetooth hardware included with the EVGA Z97 Stinger WiFi? It seemed like the Bluetooth drive was included in the WiFi driver I downloaded from the EVGA website, but I was not sure. The diver listed in the Windows Device Manager appears to be a 2006 Microsoft driver. Is there an EVGA Bluetooth driver?

Same issue here, I see the hardware id is USB\VID_13D3&PID_3416&REV_0200 which lists a realtek 4.0 bluetooth driver, but there are no mentions on the EVGA site of said driver.

I'll try that tonight and see if I can pair.

I was able to download the Windows 8.1 Pro bluetooth drivers from Lenovo's website.  Search for j3bm02ww.exe

Solved by downloading Realtek Semiconductor Corporation bluetooth driver.

I installed the bluetooth driver in the folder RTBlueR_780.780.780.1021.2013, and then I could finally connect to my bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

It's really unfortunately that some manufacturers aren't supplying Microsoft with their drivers. If they did then Windows would automatically install the drivers.
