There may be some unexpected help heading Nateman's way, my lips are sealed though. Someone get him out of his slumber and have him reply to my emails :)

I love the poly block that VSG got. I love love love it!

VSG great review as always. If we need to do the tests, I can always load the system up and drive the 2 hours to run full tests with the Nateman.

The Army blocked your website for some reason so I can't see the review until tonight.  I did take some pre-oxidized pictures when I finished making it:

Semi-tangent:

This is the current top dog waterblock http://forums.evga.com/Re...k-m2317614.aspx I have one on my shelf that I'm not using.  It looks like it's begging to have a second outlet port added to the other side to make it fully symmetric.  Doable?

Schweet.  I'll take some measurements and see if the topside of the top will have any issues with less copper being in the area where the new outlet would go.  I think they cut way more threads than is really needed anyways so should be ok.

It will still be machined out and blind tapped.  It will be fine.

On a side note, EK Supremacy Evo full metal ended up beating that HK 4.0 Pro. My hotbox slightly favors metal tops.

In the mail.

Barb doesn't get close to bottoming out.

The top plate is aluminum so has to go away.

To make symmetric some of this has to be trimmed.  Dunno what to fill in the top and bottom channels with to disconnect the left and right outlets from each other.  Acetal square could work, or maybe stuff a bit of neoprene foam in.

Like anyone who has hoses running through their house has kids....or a wife for that matter :)

Random Edit: Also noticed that the center inlet isn't actually at the center of the block, so position of the new outlet will have to be based on the original outlet -> block edge distance and not original outlet -> center inlet distance.

find a wife who can tolerate it.  OR even better, has the same passions as you do.

So does your wife like all the tubes, your old "evaporative cooler" and Skynet the full scale machine shop in your basement?
Kids harping on your to get the test bench LN2 ready again?

Newer version that looks to have a slight touch of the "air cooled" water block design influenced in it??????

i really need to be pressured,  kidnapped, abducted,  somehow forced into make this.

Just not looking forward into learning an entirely new operation... slit-sawing on a vertical access.  I will be back to hand-jamming tool paths since I don't know how to make my CAM program do that sort of stuff.

This looks cool. I hope you will be doing something for the X299 when it comes out! BTW is there a list of the current projects Nateman is working on these days?

for the moment, it will be a test/proof of new concept.

I am getting my machine ready to start cutting copper again.  I have been doing lots of steel cutting for knives.  currently I have a few knives I have been working on, but now they are off the CNC, so after some minor adjustments I will be cutting a batch of ASRock waterblocks.

As fir the X299, just need to know the socket specs and scale the block accordingly.

I am hoping to get my hands on one when they release in August(Hopefully). I will probably try to ship one out to you then if no one else has done that!

Did a slight re-design.  Ironed out a few dimensions, and for a more compact delta fan.  The noisier the better ;)

oooooh yes, must have an air cooled waterblock!
I need more Nateman_Doo cooling on my system!
ACWB for the CPU needs to happen I got some cool ideas for one, and some other things I might throw your way too, but yeah, you need one for the next X socket.  Ya know, long term members have been waiting for the ACWB to go into production since our X58's were the top mobo out there.....just sayin'.
