System: i5 2500k@ 4.5ghz; 650 ti Boost in SLI; 8 gb Ram; 850 Corsair PSU

Issue:
Immediately when running the Witcher 3 GPU 2 heats up to 87c while GPU1 remains around 55c. Fans are at 100%. Witcher 3 is the only application that has ever caused this. While the card is rated above 90c the temps still concern me.

Troubleshooting:
I have removed the cards to ensure that they were free from dirt, dust, and debris. The cards are receiving adequate power and fans are working properly. Additionally i have swapped the cards PCI slots and it still affects the card in GPU2 configuration regardless of the card that is in it.

Any ideas are very much appreciated.

Thank you!

    Hello Hade19er,

We do apologize for any issues with your 650 Ti. If not done already, please try rolling back to driver 350.12 with a clean installation to see if you are having the same issues. Also, please see this link for additional details on tweaks you can try for Witcher 3.

Thanks for the reply.  I rolled back but lose the SLI support necessary to run the Witcher 3 at an acceptable frame rate.  I have everything set to low now with the 352.86 driver and temps are starting to stabilize around 75ish.  Hopefully a driver with Kepler optimization comes soon.  I would like to play this game with a little better visual experience without buying a 900 series card.

    Thank you!
