I got curious about this Datamancer company after seeing Linus' review and I gotta say these are some really nice looking unique keyboards but is $750 to $2000 too much to pay for a keyboard? One of these would look nice on an executive's desk who doesn't type much but I don't know anyone who sits behind a desk wearing Armani suits.

If there are people willing to pay 10,000 dollars or more for a luxury Apple iWatch then I'm sure there are people willing to spend large amounts of cash for a keyboard. I would think that such a market would be very small though.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

It's a good thing I've become attached to my Corsair K70. Even though I have 2 defective LED I am refusing to replace it under warranty since it's not available. The red backlight is still available but I like my blue. I'd be just stupid enough to waste the dough on one of these Datamancers.

What makes these appealing to me is the fact that I'm old enough to remember the standard non-electric typewriter. I was 5 yrs old when the IBM Selectric was unveiled. I can't begin to tell you how many typewriters I destroyed when I was a child. LOL

If you're going to buy a keyboard that looks like it was designed for, or by, Howard Hughes, you probably should have as much money as him.

I don't have room for two couches in my apartment. I will make room for one of these "New Yorker" models but they look like they would hurt if you used them for a couch.

Sell it and buy a 2K leather couch if you want to be a copycat.

Two 2K keyboards? Man... If you have that much, you should get the one painted with hair from virgins and powdered gold.
