Hi does this: gpu https://www.komplett.dk/a...7#!tab:extra with fit with this:  ASUS P8Z68-V LX, Socket-1155

And for the future what do i have to look for, so that i can answer these questions myself?

    Your motherboard can accommodate that video card. You are just looking for PCI-E revision. As long as you have a PCI-E 2.0 or 3.0 slot you should be fine. Some motherboards need a BIOS update to recognize newer video cards, but not always. For ASUS a BIOS update is pretty simple, you just download the AI Suite from their site and it can install the BIOS from the operating system.
     
    You can find it under the support tab, after you select your operating system, you will find the download for AI Suite II under utilities:

    Other factors you may need to look into is your power supply. You need a minimum of 400w power supply.

    Definitely, that can be a big problem for those with smaller cases.

    If case size is an issue check out some of the mitx 970's Galaxy even released a two fan version.
