Oh yes we the people of earth need to be on the winning side.
It sure would be interesting to see how many points this team could fold if everyone that ever joined would fold 24-7 for one full month.
We have at this point in time 15,702 members with 539 actively folding.
Knowing this is unrealistic as people come and go so often for so many reasons.
Do we have anyone here with the know how to give us an estimate?

It would be difficult to give exact numbers since it would require an average ppd per user when they were active. Drougnor keeps excellent stats and might be able to pull something together.
 
If you take the current average PPD for the team (59,647,904), and divide that by the active users (539) you will get an average of 110,664 PPD/user. If you take that and apply it to the total number of users you would be looking at a very very rough estimate of 1,737,646,128 PPD then you multiply that by 30 days for a month, and you get 52,129,383,840. Essentially 30x our current production.
 
It certainly would be incredible to see those kinds of numbers if it could happen.

I should have a 3rd GTX 980 within a week that I can fold on, and it looks like we are a hair away from breaking past the 200 mil difference point.

*radio announcer voice* Ladies and Gentlemen, I am proud to announce that we are under 200 million points from overtaking Default!

I was looking at the number this morning, from yesterday to today, the active members is up by 8.
Fingerscrossed it will be a lot more in the next couple of days. And then stay folding until the target is reached, Down with Default......

Default went down by 10, so maybe drougnor is correct with folders folding for bucks, then going back to default!!!!!

Anyone notice we produced 2 billion points in May?   We're not the first team to accomplish this, but it's a big jump from April and double what we produced a year ago.

Also, did a quick calculation based on the last three updates on EOC - We could see our takeover in 11 days if the updates keep up, possibly sooner!

31st May we had 528 active members,
today we are at 588 active members.
 
Default went from 935 active members on the 31st May,
today Default is at 922.

I remember my first million points in the project were earned folding for Team PimpRig at around 190 points per work unit. I didn't get a graphics card folding until right around that milestone, and folding to a total of 1.8 million for that team before the forum pretty much disappeared. 

Now I'm pulling down a few hundred thousand PPD when I open the gates and let the WUs flow freely. 

It's a wonderful time we live in.

Also, if our current work level holds, we can have Default put down in just under 7 days. Holy pooooooop!

Added more data to the sheet - Last column is a calculation based on the most recent set of average points extrapolated out to daily PPD to try to narrow down our actual crossover date/time. 

Folding full time on all 3 GPUs, I get an Estimated PPD of >900,000, given I game sometimes, I bet I can offer at least 600k a day til default is dead.
