Planning of getting another Titan X for SLI. My psu is the HX 1050.

My cpu is 3930k OC, will I need to upgrade the psu? PSU is 1.5 years old.

Also, will 16 gb system ram work for titan X sli? Or does ram need to increase? =0

Thanks!

I have the HX1050 and 16GB system ram. So far so good for my titan x. The HX1050 should be good to go with sli. Perhaps others can chime in if 16GB will work for titan X in sli.

The PSU will be fine. You shouldn't have any ram problems.

Thank you all for your help!

Also, I have notice something rather peculiar. I used to have 2 780 in SLI and when I go to do a system shutdown. Most of the time it turn off just fine. One in five though it look like it will turn off. Back light on keyboard and mouse flash like it was turning off, then it light up again and the shut down screen show no sign of flashing or turning off at all. Just stay there for a long time.... I have tried to see how long it was... hours even... Only way is to shut down manually, or hit reset and shut down again and it usually work.

I put in one Titan X since then, 3 days now and I haven't seen that... maybe too soon to tell. But anyone experience something like this? What could be the problem?

Thank you for any help or insight!

BIOSes are sometimes quirky.  I can't reboot straight up 80% of the time with my RVE.  Usually the board hangs on the American Megatrends screen and I have to hit the reset button to get all the way through.  I suspect it's some combination of my hardware and the BIOS not being coded to handle detection properly.  IMO not worth the hassle to deal with Asus support to maybe get it fixed.  Can almost guarantee they'll want me to spend hours of my time to fix *their* problem.

I talked to a friend and he say that it almost sound like my gpu is not *Done* and was stopping me from doing a complete shut down... hence the usb powered kb and mouse backlight turn off briefly and turned back on...
