The amount of sex in video games seems to be lower than in most other forms of media that I can see.

I saw an article on Xbox Magazine I think where they were saying Conan was playing at and trying to find people to have "..." with in the game, as well as a few other articles discussing the same.
I'm guessing it's from this video. Granted I don't know exactly what is in W3, the exaggerations of the media regarding what happens in games, be it intercourse (see the first Mass Effect) be it killing (see GTA), are well known and wouldn't put that much faith into them.

I wish I was, but the first one one clunky controls, so did the second, then they both didnt run great on launch. Visually it looks good but it looks like visuals are dumbed down and more stream lined for the consoles. Then the pre-launch season pass if you buy the game and the season pass you pay almost 75 dollars I think it is... That turned me away right there.

the game is only for PC and PS4 and xnbox one so i dont think it it hardly that dumbed down and if you watch this video from ign they show how bonkers we get for PC settings we can adjust everything in the game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoIgXaYawAw Customize absolutely everything on the PC version of The Witcher 3.

Totally psyched for this, unlocks in 1 day and 9 hours.
I'm keen on the combat mechanics, the whole beast investigation and battle prep, and the whole morality and every play through is unique.
There's a lot of hype, uncontrollably so.
If you want to laugh or cry, you should just look at the witcher 3 steam community hub...

Nope, not after the **** they pulled with GMG. Sorry, they deleted my informational thread that just stated the news facts on Steam and broke no Steam discussion rules... I will NEVER support GOG or CD Project. Too bad that Steam allow complete disregard for their discussion rules by developers nowadays.

Their critique is completely subjective. Witcher 3 is beautiful! I could go on and on where the older Witcher isn't as great, but that too would be subjective. We get used to a style and compare it while the two can't be compared. I really don't know why all the hate, lol. It's like comparing watercolor and acrylic paintings. I took a couple screenshots of my own using Precision X. I have no need to see the end of the map (I DO like to explore the map), so I turned down draw distance. And, I play with AA off. To me these are beautiful! Edit: TinyPic scaled them down from my 1920x1200.

I can't even get the game to play for more than 10 minutes without locking up and crashing. All settings on High, Shadows on Medium. ReShade and SweetFX 2.0 to make the game more atmospheric. Looks amazing, but crashes all the time. Crashes dont seem to be linked with ReShade either. Some Tweaks, if your rig can handle it. http://translate.google.c...FID%3D13706243%26N%3D1

It's not about comparing the Witcher 2 and 3. The first pic is just to show that the foliage in the Witcher 2 is on par if not better then in 3. You are right by saying that beauty is subjective, but CD Projekt Red already responded that they regret showing off a "vertical slice" of the game that had fantastic particle effects and lighting. So yes you might think it's beautiful, but the fact is that the current rendering system has less shaders, particles etc. then the "Gameplay" demos showed off. And Origin still shows these screens if you go to the Witcher store page. The lesson you should get out of this "Do not pre-order". Edit: my brother said - people also feel a bit duped because the studio promised no downgrades for PC. They got out of that by saying "We chose another art style".

Love the Gameplay so far 6+ hours into but no matter what, any setting I put it at. I cant break 30fps in game, in the load screen I sit at 60FPS.
with the newest driver it pretty much breaks everything so hopefully they get it fixed soon.

I just use the geforce experience and let it do its thing for the setting so it runs smooth...

Yes, the game runs smoth in my pc at 60 FPS with all settings near maxed out in ultra on my GTX980 at 1440p. The only weird thing is the occasional "driver has stopped and recovered error" and the 18FPS in the main menu (only when the game has no saved game loaded) and in the cut scenes (really choppy at 18FPS). When I have this low FPS, my GPU is being used below 5% ...

I'm getting the weirdest vibe from the game. There are just so many trees/plants that its almost hard to see anything at all. Its difficult to appreciate the games graphics because everything seems so blurry.
Maybe if I was playing in 4k it would be different, but at 1080p there is just too much stuff on screen to really focus in on any of it.
I feel like I am playing at a low resolution even though its still 1920x1080. A good sign for PC gaming overall, bad for me at the moment.

Calibrated monitor. Dell U2412M and Colormunki Display. I cant get my profile to stick with the Witcher 3. Anyone figured something out yet to get this working? I noticed this with all games I play. It sucks because the colors are so off compared to being calibrated. I even tried CPKeeper and that don't even work.
