Hello,
I've been getting this screen corruption.  It only occurs (as far as I've seen) on the Yahoo.com home page,
and only when Firefox has "use HW acceleration when available" in it's settings (as is the default).

It occurs when I scroll the page; only for a second, and the picture corrects itself.
I'm using the 310.07 driver.
Anybody seen this before? It occurs in XP and Vista (same PC).
Problem with the card?  Firefox?  Yahoo?

TIA for any info.
DAve

310.07 is out of date. Update to 352.86 and see if you still have the issue.

I checked the old driver again, it was actually 314.07.

I was looking for WHQL, so I first installed the last to have it, 327.23.  Rebooted and the problem
is solved, no more glitches.  I'll stick with this for now.
    Thanks.

I spoke too soon.  The problem re-occurred.   I uninstalled 327.xx and installed your recommended driver above.
Problem still occurs.   The corrupted screen fixes itself after about 1/2 a second.

This is in Windows XP.  Anybody else see this?
As I mentioned earlier, only happens when you scroll the yahoo homepage in Firefox.
Repeating the same test in IE8, it works fine.

Are you running the most recent version of Flash? Try disabling it temporarily in the browser and see if that makes a difference.

Unfortunately, temporarily disabling Flash did not help.

I uninstalled the 352.xx driver and reverted to 327.xx.

One interesting thing, the 352 driver would not uninstall properly; I had to abandon the uninstall and
used system restore to revert to a time before 352 was installed.
When I clicked on the Nvidia graphics driver in add/remove programs, the green Nvidia window that normally
appears where you can either confirm or cancel the uninstall was only partially painted on the screen.
Opening task manager showed an associated rundll32 (it started up when the the uninstall was initiated) was using all the CPU.
After the system restore (successful) was complete, reinstalled 327.xx and everything back to normal -
    except the original problem.

This is why I don't like using non-WHQL drivers.  I don't know what would have happened if I had tried to
install 327 on top of 352; I didn't try it.

I've had the EVGA 610 for less that a year and this device has been fine except for this one glitch,
whose cause (s far) is undetermined.

I would just leave hardware acceleration disabled if it helps.

Maybe update the drivers and web browser?

Funny enough mine doesn't do that but on yahoo it sometimes blanks completely out, the screen goes black and comes back, then usually goes black again comes back. Over and over till i leave the page causing it. No idea why.
