This is great on there end for patching the game, but nothing will justify nvidias poor choice in putting out such horrid drivers that crash at the desktop for no good reason.

I haven't read the article but when I first began playing, I set the settings at high and it wasn't very smooth. I like to use GeForce Experience when a game doesn't cooperate. I ran the default optimal settings for Witcher 3 and now it runs at 45 FPS average while still looking great.

For some reason the graphics settings defaulted to Bordlerless Window mode for me. Switching it to fullscreen bumped my FPS by 15.

Going to fullscreen stopped my crashes.
Game still performs kind of strangely, considering what it looks like. But whatever.

What performance do you guys get with the game? I have all the settings on High, but Shadows on Medium, with the SweetFX Config. and I get about 60fps constant. It drops to 45 min if something crazy happens on screen. Otherwise its silky smooth. Performance is good for my system I think, except for the constant crashes every 20 minutes.

I cant seem to get away from 30FPS at 5940X1080 at any settings maybe I will go through and do this later

NVIDIA and AMD are trying to fix something that is on the developers end=/
Errors are what you get when 3/4 of the way through development, you turn a great looking game into an Xbox One Port. For CTD turn frames to unlimited, and go to fullscreen. You can still cap framerate in Inspector if you need to. But using the in game option just causes crashes.
