So, I bought a new 850w g2 to replace my aging Silverstone PSU. Swapped everything out, plugged it in and nothing. Motherboard standby lights all turn on but, PC doesn't start. I also tried switching the eco switch on and off. I swapped my old PSU back in and it started fine. Did I just get a defective PSU?

    Hi {uZa}DOA,

I recommend testing the power supply connected to the wall only with the 24-pin jumper on the 24-pin cable. With the power supply in this configuration, the switch in the on position, and eco mode off, the fan should spin. If it does not, it is clear that a replacement would be necessary.

Thanks EVGATech_DerrelM. I've already returned it to Amazon. It was faulty. Now to wait another week for refund and try again.
