no idea why it happens. But my Evga x10 mouse becomes quite resistant, and it stops working for no apparent reason. There is still power sent to the mouse, and I can see the laser and keyboard work....

I'm sitting here five hours and I do not know what to do?

Try moving the mouse to a different USB port or simply testing it on another system either desktop or laptop. Are you having any other issues with other USB peripherals?

    Dear Emil Sune,

I recommend contacting our support at SupportEU@evga.com or by calling +49.89.189.049.11.  We are here to help with warranty since you have tried different ports and the older mouse is working for you.

You may also submit a warranty request online by visiting: http://eu.evga.com/support/guestregister.asp or if purchased recently I would recommend trying to exchange the product with the local store.

    Dear Emil sune,

The only other thing that I can think of is to go through your Control Panel -> Uninstall Programs -> and remove any Logitech or other mouse/keyboard software including the TORQ software then reconnect the mouse and see if it works.

Please understand that if the same issues continues then I suggest moving forward with working with our support.

Emil, have you updated the firmware, or installed the Unleash Software for your mouse?

Be aware, your issue is going to be your mouse pad more than likely.  A lot of people had this problem with the old cloth type mouse pads, and some other soft fabric pads, as the sensor doesn't always register it properly.  It is nothing wrong with the mouse itself, just the incompatibility of the mousepad and the mouse together.  Try to find a different surface, or grab a box and see if the reaction changes.

Did you try setting it on a box or something like I suggested?  You didn't do it yesterday, because it started working.

And you glanced to make sure no dust or anything became lodged in the path of the laser, correct?  If so, I would email EVGA as requested by ChrisB above, and see if they can get you fixed up.

Hi Scarlet tech I have tried to clean the mouse completely. I can't open my mouse, i have no access to it apparently. There is no dust at all.

that's what they say to me:

Unfortunately the sensor is not user serviceable and cannot be accessed. If the previous testing does not resolve the issue we recommend proceeding with the RMA. I apologize for any inconvenience.

    What is RMA

    Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

An EVGA Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) allows customers to return defective products to EVGA for a replacement. EVGA offers many options that should satisfy the unfortunate need to replace your EVGA product under warranty as quickly and as painlessly as possible.

You nail them yours and they send you a working one. Www.evga.com/support "guest rma" to get the stuff submitted. You just need your serial number on your mouse which is on the bottom of the mouse under the bottom barcode.

EVGA should provide service for repair their mouse as Logitech example.
Logitech have famous and good service in my country example and 90% of malfunctions could be repaired.
On that way they fix my G700 and many people I know. If mouse is under warranty period they done for free if warranty gone then customers pay something little usually for repair.
I feel my G700 will die soon, last 2-3 months he don't work without USB connection.
