Hello there,
I just opened my first RMA yesterday as my 780ti SC decided to die and I was wondering, will EVGA get in touch with me to confirm which card they will be shipping back to me or, I'll just have to wait and see? Thanks

    Hello Red46

Your GTX 780 Ti will be replaced with the same model if available. You may review the progress of your RMA by logging into your account and navigating to Member Home / My Products and clicking the View Details tab.

The new card being shipped will be under the section of - Part Number Out:

From what I understand they'll contact you if they can't send the exact same model, so if no message stating otherwise, it'll be the exact same thing.

I think the only time they will contact you is if you notified them that your running SLi when you submit the RMA.

It's pretty much wait and see -- I wouldn't expect any issues with replacing a GTX 780 Ti. If we don't have one, we'll send out a card of equal or greater performance. If this breaks your SLI, contact us and we'll review the case and see what we can do.

Hey, thanks for replying on a sunday first of all. I am glad to hear there won't be any problems replacing it.

So I got my replacement and I was bumped up to a 980 FTW which is really nice. However this replacement has never worked once on my system. Every time I started a game or a benchmark, the moment there were 3d graphics to be displayer, the monitor loses signal the card locks and the computer resets. I went through extensive testing (detailed here: http://forums.evga.com/GTX-980-FTW-crashing-m2344574.aspx) and nothing helped my cause.
