I'm so sorry because I payed GSkill, but never mind,
if this is something good I will easy sell GSkill in Serbia for more than I payed and order EVGA SSC DDR4 2800 1.2V.
This would be fantastic for people who think to make combo EVGA Motherboard + EVGA Memory.
I must say Heatsinks are better than GSkill, Kingston, Crucial, but they could be better, something similar to Klevv.
I hope they will work well.
EVGA MEMORY, HEY!

The memory only comes with a 3 year warranty. I'll stick to G.Skill and other brands that give you lifetime.

That's not big problem for me,
memory die extremely rear and if pass MemTest86 first night your children will probably play with them.
But I'm almost sure that EVGA will increase warranty over time on 5 years.
At first moment that look weird to me, and yes most of manufacturers are 5, 10, Limited Lifetime, Lifetime, but not something what will stop me to choose them if they work similar as GSkill. From memory vendors I expect only specification, nothing else. If that is limit, OK I'm not complain, but I'm not ready to pay some big price as CORSAIR ask more for slower memory with slower latency than GSkill only because Heatsinks.

limiting it to micro center is a poor choice. sell it on amazon also atleast because micro center are just not close enough everywhere. what is this 3 year warranty joke? everyone else has lifetime

Even microcenter is only allowing local pickup is even worst. I was going to try it out but can't even get it. Make it on something like amazon that most people can get to. Give it lifetime warranty. Make a classified branding also.

Every memory vendor on Newegg gives you limited lifetime warranty. It's the industry standard for memory modules. No reason for evga not to offer the same warranty, unless they don't plan on selling memory that long.

Memory doesn't die that often that is true. Faulty hardware or even a power surge has a chance to damage memory.  I think it's worth spending $10-30 more if you plan on keeping system over 3 years, which a lot of people do these days. Let's not forget that having a limited lifetime warranty adds to product resell value. That $10-30 could end up saving you from having to spend $100+ to replace the memory.

company not having lifetime warranty on ram tells me the company doesn't trust their own product. if they don't trust it enough to support it why should i

They will probably change on 5-7 years.
5 years is period enough to cover lifetime of premium new most advanced PC Build.
Example if someone build X99 with DDR4 he will use max 5 years such components and after that new standard will show up or much faster memory with tighter latency. 3 years is really small, that's warranty for video card. Many people will still use big kits of 32GB DDR4 and for 3 years, they are expensive and no one would like to pay 400-450$ again for 3 years.

What Kingston memory did you find that was only 36 months. I looked on Newegg.com i couldn't find any that was 36 months on DDR3/DDR4.

If someone builds a X99 system today, a very good chance they will be using the same system (MOBO,CPU,RAM) 7 years from now.  I'm still using my X58 system i built in early 2009 to game on. I could probably wait another 3 years before i really need to upgrade the core hardware.

Some people might think were just hating for no reason which isn't true. Were pointing out concerns we have that is keeping us from supporting EVGA brand. It seems like EVGA is just trying to make a quick by off slapping it's name on a product. They don't want to offer warranty support, they tell you to visit local microcenter on the warranty page.

In my country they give 36 warranty on some Kingston DDR3 kits, DDR4 is 120 months.
Believe me or not last 5 years that's only memory available in Serbia, from time to time show up some small number of Patriot and CORSAIR Vengeance, but very rear... Tragedy, no normal distributor for GSkill and CORSAIR with available different kits of DDR4.
I import from Germany. In such situation sellers can do what they want.

no thanks... they look like Corsair Ballstix ram. Pass...I'll stick to G.Skill

They don't even sell it on NewEgg, it's not worthy on buying it.

After one picture your conclusion is not worth.
Maybe you change minds soon, Patriot memory are nothing special usually, but Crucial have some nice kits Micron.
GSkill on their site with every kit have list of compatible motherboards from different brands.

I love G-Skill memory. Best bang for your buck.
This new EVGA memory is priced really well too.
I would 100% try this stuff if I was building a new PC.
I want EVGA to make even more stuff!

Yes GSkill price is nice, and DDR4 drop fast on almost 200e in Europe for 2800MHz C15/C16 latency.
When I say C16 I mean 16-16-16-36, not 16-18-18-36 as some other kits.
Some sites as hardware versand.de offer for 198e now kit 4x4GB 2800MHz, ideal speed for X99,
and from voltage side, 1.2V and for memory controller. Paying 3000-3200MHz kits is big difference and risky for stable work.
Difference between GSkill and Dominator Platinum for same speed is exactly 120e now, difference was higher before few weeks.
Off course nothing better than full slots of Dominator Platinum, look really excellent but 120e is almost K70 keyboard.
If someone build watercooling could pay CPU block and radiator for difference and in benchmark tests will not notice any difference, maybe even better performance with GSkill.
