Hey all, I have the above listed card and having some issues, mainly with blizzard games.
Im running an i7 2600k, corsair force gt for os and samsung evo for games. 8gb of 1600mhz ram. cpu and mem load look OK

Prior (about a year ago) i was getting the following fr on these games
diablo3-130
sc2-100
League of legends 140
all above are at max settings
also crysis 3 at medium/high around 45
and bf3 at high at 60-80

Lately i have been getting the following fr
diablo3 -40 ( drops to 12 in large parties)
sc2-30 ( same as above)
League of legends 140
crysis 3 45
bf3 60-80

Because I only seem to be having in blizzard games i am assuming it is a driver issue. I have done a bit of research and have found a lot of issues based on some older cards, and most of the issues seem to be un resolved and from 2012-2013. Any ideas? Also running in full screen windowed helps a bit along with boosting the power target.

EDIT: I have tried the last three drivers or so with careful installation/uninstall , i am running 350 as of now.

If you install the driver from back then do you get your performance back?
If not it could be a Windows Update KB that can cause this.

It has been a while since I have played World of Warcraft, but I believe there have been several graphical updates to the game. Depending on your settings, it could simply be that the game has become more taxing on your system.

You may want to run a benchmark as a control and compare to others with similar systems.

I thought about that too, but it is a pretty substantial drop. I cant see diablo ever being more demanding then crysis 3. I even tried lowering texture and shadow quality on D3 and still sub par fr. Also sc2 lags out now and it never did ( crashes sometimes, and others pops up with a warning about slowing down the game and to lower graphics quality.)

I just tried with 331.65 and low texture, no shadows, and windowed full screen, And still barely 60 fps. I was only in town but im sure if i went into a party it would be sub 20. =/

And others with 600 have reported the same issue, I saw a report of someone with a 680 getting spikes of 10-20 fps.

See if you have this KB Installed KB2670838.
As long as you DO NOT have IE 11 Installed you can remove it.
From one of my other Posts: I am Assuming you are on Windows 7 and when you installed Windows Updates did you remember not check and block update KB2670838 Some Call It The EVIL UPDATE

I don't think a Dot.Net Security Patch would cause this.
Also NVIDIA Drivers now use .Net 4

This is killing me its almost unplayable and i have died a few times from lag spikes. I checked around and im seeing benchmarks from 140-170 when the card came out for d3. I doubt its my card as my other games run fine on it. Maybe ill try the original driver just to make sure it isn't a driver issue.
Ok uninstalled precision for safe measure, and installing 310.10 just for kicks.

How high of settings are you using?
I now use V-Sync in all my game.
I am not in it for the Hundreds of FPS most users are demanding now a days but for clear game playing.

ok installed 306.23 and back to 150 fps, full spec, full screen. So it is definitely a driver issue. I guess ill leave it like this for now and hope blizzard/nvdia address it sooner then later.

That is an Old Driver, so you want the Hundred of FPS over Smooth Game Playing?

I would say Never, Folding on the Older GPU have the same problem.
On my 660Ti for Folding I use driver 327.23 this seems to be the last Great Driver.
You may want to give it a try. http://www.nvidia.com/object/win8-win7-winvista-64bit-327.23-whql-driver.html

I have everything set on max, as I did originally when the game came out. I'm on a 60 hz monitor I don't care about super high frame rates xD if you read the thread I mentioned several times that it drops sub 20 and that is unplayable. After playing for a little a realized the old driver did not fix the issue so I'm back to square one. Is it my comp or blizzard?

Been thinking about it. If I do ill do everything clean including my Samsung ssd which has like 20 games installed xD.

I've been kicking around another build just wanted to see if I should wait to see how win10/ dx12 handles cards.I heard there is going to be a substantial boost by utilizing CPU more. Wondering if 6 cores will be more beneficial to gaming rigs.
