I just got this board and my only question I have is if there is a fast charge port on it?

    It could have something to do with that but the online manual says nothing about that. Where did you find that so I can reference it...thanks.

    Z97 Maximus Hero 7, it has software that you have to install to get it to work. I also had a Z87 board the Asus Sabertooth that had the same thing.

    I don't expect anything I was just seeing if I overlooked it, I appreciate the information you provided on the matter but I think you need to take a step back and question why you put read words that simply aren't on your screen.

    that Asus USB charger port is a gimmick but..... I doubt Asus don't really optimize very well their BIOS with all these GIMMICK function. I owned a Asus X99-S motherboard before my EVGA X99 FTW. There many owner give 5-star in Amazon so I make my purchase. But it is a nightmare, the USB and system is not stable at all! BIOS always fail at the post screen, shows error code. After searching from web, there are quite alot user report the same error code and point to the USB problem. I email to Asus support, however they doubt I'm overclocking the system so unstable where I don't have overclocking at the moment! Speechless.... I returned the board and give a try to EVGA, it is fantastic, no more hassle!
