I have the same, but it turned out to be a nightmare.
    X8 X8 X16 X8 the best I have and have seen.
    4 x X16 would be 64 PCIe Lanes.

Id have to find the tweet again but jacob said a new x99 classified was coming with usb 3.1. Might be some other changes.

I still think the dark was a x79 only thing. As classified is evga namr brand of their top end stuff, but x79 classy was not a good product.

Classified or NO GO! (To use a appropriate term.)  If you want "Dark" just go into the darn BIOS setting and go DARK! lmao  Classified should always be around and never be changed.  (Drops mic and walks away.)

Intel won't give it to you even by next year as 40 lanes won't change without a PLX bridge chipset (adding fake lanes that aren't recognized anyway).  But AMD might give 64 lanes on die; granted it could be a server/workstation SKU, it wasn't like Intel invented their LGA2011 v3 platform just for the ultra tiny consumer enthusiast niche.

For Intel processors, 0.122 x TDP = Continuous Amps at 12v [source].

When Jacob say that new Classified coming with USB 3.1 ???
In my town R5E/USB 3.1 is 110e more than R5E, because they didn't build in USB 3.1 and I would never pay so much for board...
First because I'm not sure what happen with my graphic card in first slot... x16 or x8 with i7-5820K if I install this...

And under USB 3.1 Port Card should go and Sound Blaster Z...in that little slot near Supreme FX...
Because of that USB 3.1 on back side build in would be excellent, don't even to talk about 2x USB 3.1 type A, 1x USB 3.1 Type C.
    That would be madness.

Almost 10 potential leak points... compare with EKWB for R5E with only 2.

Do you remember when USB 3.0 show up. I think two generation of boards show up not even one Flash device.
After that they start to launch extremely fast and become race with USB 3.0. As someone give command... Now!
But before that we talk about USB 3.0 as advantage and no single device on market.

If you can do without overclocking, Supermicro has this board with 84-lanes total. 80 out of those lanes are distributed across two CPUs and the remaining 4-lanes are set at 2.0 and connected via the unused DMI link of the second CPU. The DMI link of the first CPU connects to the C602 PCH.

    http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon/C600/X9DRG-QF.cfm

Someone modified the BIOS for this board to enable SLI.

    http://forum.techinferno.com/desktop-motherboards/3544-supermicro-x9drg-qf-r-1-1-bios-nvidia-sli-support.html

Supermicro has some newer dual socket boards with a feature called HyperSpeed which provides limited overclocking by giving the option to increase the base clock by up to 4-5 MHz for minor CPU frequency increase. This is available in four levels. The above board does not have this feature though.

On the USB side, you could add one of those USB 3.1 PCI-E cards. It is not the most ideal solution but currently Intel LGA2011 CPUs are limited to 40-lanes each.

WoW! and only $480 over on Amazon. I wonder what would be the Best CPU(s) for 4 Graphics Cards.
Never Mind "official BIOS comes without nVidia SLi support." Supermicro Charges an Arm and a Leg for a new Bios Chip if you Brick it.

Supermicro does now have dual socket boards that support SLI. This one below will handle three cards at x16 3.0.

    http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon/C600/X10DAX.cfm

I have not seen one yet that officially supports quad SLI with four cards.

On the CPU side, there are many options to look at. For a gaming rig, two four core CPUs should be sufficient and equivalent core count to the 5960x. In this scenario, I would go with CPUs that have the highest possible turbo frequency.

    http://ark.intel.com/products/83358/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E5-2637-v3-15M-Cache-3_50-GHz

With HyperSpeed, it should be possible to set the frequency of the CPUs a bit higher in the range of 100-150 MHz per CPU depending on what the CPU multiplier is set at.

    CaseLabs M-S8 - ASRock X99 Pro - Intel 5960x 4.2 GHz - XSPC CPU WC - EVGA 980 Ti Hybrid SLI - Samsung 950 512GB - EVGA 1600w Titanium

I looked at the Board before I got my X99 Classified MB. It really only supports 3 GPUs as it only has 3 PCIe Slots.
Supports 3-way Geforce SLI  (4-way SLI support for dual GPU graphics cards) Which is really Quad SLI.

No, that block for M5E have only two ports, that's good, but EKWB for R5E is even better because only 2 G 1/4 for motherboard and CPU block... Look Bitspower 6x G 1/4 and for CPU and motherboard blocks from two parts and than you connect 3 parts with one big on top and on that you install compression fittings....Compare with EKWB Monoblock where you install single peace with 2 ports and cover motherboard from top to bottom and CPU together...

The x79 Dark still has lights, lol. I just want EVGA to use a gray for the E on the heat sink this wound. I think that would slightly improve the aesthetics.

Can we not turn off the Motherboard Lights on our X99 Classified Motherboards?
Mine is covered with 4 HC Graphics Cards so I cannot even see my motherboard, I can see the Red LCD that Shows Boot Codes and then Temperatures.
I hope you don't want them to also drop the Red LCD 2 Code Panel as well.

In the bios, you would look under advanced or boot options for a dark mode. That is to turn off the lights. Glance at your bios when you get a chance. I think it is under the advanced menu.
