Does anyone know if they make a mid tower computer case that has two spots for SSD's behind where you mount the motherboard.

Wow sim, that might be a tall order being that you need room to hide the psu wires back there too. If that wasn't the case you could probably pull it off with most of the cases out there in one way or another.

Looking for competitor to Corsair Obsidian 450D PC Case. That case has two spring loaded SSD mounts you can move behind the motherboard tray.

Def see better what you mean and where you got the idea from now. Id probably look at lian-li cases first cause many of them have sunken mobo trays like that, and then if I found something suitable, id see if I could go to the Corsair webstore and buy those two ssd mounts individually and mount/mod them to the case I wanted.

Check out Fractal Design Define R5 and the R4, they have rear mounting for SSD.

The motherboard has to be out to get to the mounting screws on the R4, doesn't have be out on the R5. There are spots for 2 drives.

I have the R5 and love it.

I still haven't made up my mind when i want to build a new PC. Will see if mind changes on the R5. I don't care much for a door on the case.

I wasn't sure about the door either but I don't use the optical drives much so it doesn't bother me now. It does give the case a nice clean look and there's sound deadening mat on it too, so it helps cut down noise. I got one with a side window and it's still probably the quietest case I've owned.

I used to have two blu ray players now I have only one and that is for old software, games, or emergency O/S boot. Optical drives are almost obsolete.
