After playing some games yesterday both my monitors went black, and when i restarted the computer it would show the windows startup screen, and after that it would just become black. I tried plugging in only 1 of the monitors, and if i only use one of my monitors (Only works with the DVI one) It works, but if i plug in my primary monitor (DisplayPort) both go black!

Have you tried re-installing the drivers? If re-installing the drivers didn't help you're most likely going to need to RMA.

Either call EVGA at +1.888.881.EVGA (3842) or open a ticket online at http://www.evga.com/support/ticket/support.aspx

It may be an RMA cause but you still need to contact tech support first before opening an RMA. Otherwise, they could have a solution for your issue.

These GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0 sure seem faulty, there are other threads here describing the issue and even the RMA cards have the same issues. Mine is not even a month old and has been loosing video signal while gaming, I haven't been able to benchmark it yet and see if it's another component on my system that is causing the issue (doubt it) but I'm starting to think that it's a GPU problem.

I tried plugging the DVI cable in to my main monitor and i got picture now, im getting a new DP cable to check if the cable was broken. If that's not the case im sending the card back and getting a new one.

When purchasing a DP/HDMI cable make sure of the quality. A cheaply priced cable might be exactly what you get.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA
