I am looking to buy a 980 and I'm interested in getting a EVGA GeForce GTX 980 ACX 2.0 4GB as i don't have any intention of overclocking, so my question is does this card light up on the top like the superclocked edition? and how well does it perform in 1080p?

    They both do light up yes and the card is absolutely overkill for 1080P and a beast at 1440P

    EVGA GTX 770 Classified and Superclocked in a wonky SLI
    i7 4820K at 4.5-4.7 ghz depending on whether Im trying to bench
    32gb 1866 mhz DDR3 G.skill ram
    Asus sabertooth X79 Motherboard, I want a rampage black :0
    H100i cooler
    lots of fans
     
    Yes it's total overkill I know but think of it like this, who needs a car that can go 250+ mph?
