I bought a new EVGA card, and i have a weird artifact just only while my ASUS mobo logo is appear. Any idea for what causes this problem?

    Re-seat the Card and check your Video Cable Connectors.

    My other GTX 560 is fine, and re-seat is not helped.

    Question:
    Does it actually artefact once on desktop (once drivers are loaded in)? Does it affect performance or artefact during gaming?

    If not, then don't worry too much. I know it's a different card etc but I used to have this old powercolor radeon 9800 pro that did a similar thing but once it was on desktop with drivers loaded in, it was fine. That card ran great for years and is still very much alive in an old IT system I built for my ex-wife. Think it just didn't like it's own safe mode for some weird reason.

    Test:
    Use a proper benchmarking tool (evga oc scanner for example) to fully load the cards vram and gpu then run it like that for up to a max of a few hours, looking for artefacts. If all comes back fine, then yer good to go :)

    I'm live in Hungary, so i just wanna to know what cause this problem. Only shows this artifact while my mobo is booting. Other gtx 560 is working fine, no artifact at all.
