HEy guys so no that long ago i made a post about  my old cpu and the z97 ( resolved ) , now my question is this :

How well this cpu (i5 4690k ) performs with this mobo I would love the i7 4790k but I'm on a budget right now so my question is how many out there are running this set up and how well it performs , keep in mind that this is just for gaming and small editing like (sony vegas) per example

That setup would perform very well. The 4690k is still a unlocked cpu so you can still overclock it if you need to but I don't think you will. You would be very happy with this cpu.

Reporting back and so far so good... however i find this set up a bit loud :( I guess I can get used to it but for now this will do

    MOBO: EVGA Z97 Classified
    CPU: I5 4690k @ 4.2 ( doing small overclocking )
    Cooling:Corsair H110iGT 280mm
    Ram:16G Dominator Platinum
    PSU:EVGA SuperNova 850
    SSD:Samsung 850 PRO 1TB
    HDD:Seagate 2 TB
    Case:Corsair 780T

So this is my final set up , I really like it but the only downside it's the noise >_>

Did you install the Corsair Link RC v2.7.5361 to control all of the fans?

Cool! Are you going to put some picture of your computer on MODS RIGS?

Oh yes I will , I want to change the 2 140m fans on my rad and the 1 140m fan on the back to white LED , also want to change the 2 140m white LED fans that came with the case  and replace those with 3 120m white LED , but I'm gonna wait a bit since I'm literately broke after this build lol

I guess I could upload some pics right now and upload the new ones when i get the proper fans i want :)
