Standard model.  No reason to get the SC unless you don't want to bother overclocking at all.

This ^.  The only difference is the BIOS holding it at a higher base rate.  I bought the SC simply because it was the first one in stock that I could find without ordering directly from nVidia after a week of regularly checking.  I have no idea how their support is.  I went with EVGA after countless hours researching forums and seeing such positive discussions and EVGA folks making regular responses to the community.

EDIT: Also, the warranty can't be transferred with the nVidia from what I read.  EVGA will let you transfer it from the original owner.  That could make a difference if you ever decided to sell.  I certainly wouldn't buy one (or would expect to pay a lot less) if there was no warranty.

The SC does not have a binned chip?

Not necessarily binned but pretested to run at the higher frequencies.

With the SC being such a weak overclock, is it even powered on to verify functionality or do you guys reflash and stick it in the box directly knowing that all cards are going to support that frequency?
