I've been reading a lot of great reviews for the Titan X and was wondering if moving to one Titan X Hydro Copper from my current config of 2 GTX580 FTW Hydro Coppers running in SLI would make sense from a performance perspective.

Is there anyone that has done this or that can make a recommendation?

Thanks

Silly question considering the Titan X is 3 generations newer then the 580, default clock speed is higher, has Boost 2.0, overclocks higher, plus more then 6x the CUDA cores, and 12x times available vram

I went from SLI 570 to 1 970 and saw a huge difference

I'm sure that this is confirmation that elTornado was looking for.  Always good to have first hand accounts.

You can also get a rough estimate using the performance charts provided by Nvidia at http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-titan-x/performance
