You asked for a pump suggestion, for a quite, powerful and small I recommend the Swiftech MCP50x, fairly new but it is a SOLID pump.  That's my 2 cents.

Also, that is a sweet case, little open air  system like that, really nicely done.

Thank you , checking it out now!

You'd think we'd see more and more shortie res/pumps less than 5inches tall? I haven't seen too many, that were worth buying?

Update time!

I got a little work done on the case today, well, just peeling the paper off and assembling for fit. I still need to cut some more pieces such as: Inserts for the "E" and "EVGA" logos, case feet, PSU mounts, and I/O backplane. I still may go with flat head screws and countersink them on the outside of the case only....what do you think? flush mount or leave it as is?

I received great news today! I have my first sponsor for this build (or any build I've done for that matter) I would like to thank Alex at Frozen Q for donating a CPU Block and Reservoir for this build!

Very nice, and congrats on getting a sponsorship. As far as the screw I think either way looks good. But for maximum visual appeal the counter sunk look would probably be best.

@violence, ahhh, remembering the largest case I ever built. Don't feel bad about being denied, here's my denial:

Thank you all for your kind comments!!! More to come!!!!

Kirk (Gone Cruising)

I can't believe they told you no on that one. That's the one that I was saying was one of my favorites. I love that thing.

Well, they don't really tell you no. You just don't hear them say yes. I did hear back from them that they liked it, but I guess it was a no go. Since it's one of your favorites do you want it? If you would like to have it just PM me your address and I will try to send it to you this weekend if not next weekend, when I have time. It's just sitting here collecting dust!

Yea they did the same to me. I just never heard back from them at all. But yet they still send me the magazine every month.

Small update!

Case feet and EVGA logos done. I made the frosted logos stay by applying some clear packing tape behind it....just in case I want to make it a different color!

And I ordered the PSU which arrived a few days ago. Time to get to some custom sleeving....the easy way....more to come on that.

Ordered last night:

The PSU sleeving will be done by using Mod/Smart pre-made cables in various lengths (the easy way):
http://www.primochill.com/product-category/modsmart/cable-management/colored-wire-sleeved-wire/8-inch-colored-wire-sleeved-wire/

Just waiting for everything to arrive and to do more research on hard line tubing, pumps and rads to see what I need. Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys!

I have made some progress with seeing if everything fits and so far so good! Even the acrylic I/O backplane fit's nicely. At the moment this build (the ITX version) might be put on hold for a little bit as I am going to start the full ATX version case real soon. That was the original build I intended to do (being I purchased two GTX 970' and blocks for it) I'll get back to this build after the ATX one, but for now, here is where it will sit for a little bit.....

ID Cooling 120mm x 15mm PWM Fans

Acrylic I/O.....it works!!!! Two pieces of 1/8" (3mm) and one clear 1/4" (6mm) sandwiched in between. I can make the I/O glow with an L.E.D

Plenty of room for a push/pull rad!!!

Hopefully you can see it.....the SSD's, PSU and HD's.....kind of hard as they are all black!

Fans installed with temporary screws....

That's all for now on the mini ITX and I will finish this off a little later....more to come on the ATX version coming right up! Now if I can just get my hands on some sticks of EVGA Ram!!!!

Heck ya he does. Kinda bummed to see him stop on this build but I know and understand why he is doing it. Very nice setup, and could hold a very clean and neat system when finished.

Nothing wrong with ATX, can be just as tight and clean.

You sir are correct. There's just something about this one that I like. Although I'm sure GC will pull off the ATX just as perfectly.

What do you mean long-time? I'm on here all the time. I don't post as often as I used to, and mostly lurk in the Folding/Crunching sections. But I've been spending more time in here recently and hoping to start another build thread in the next couple weeks.

My bad. I haven't been in the folding threads in a long while. Although with upcoming opencl/vulcan(opengl) I'm looking at the just released V-Ray 4 Blender, next-gen GTX 1080's look badjazz and prob do SLI.

From what I've read, opencl Rendering will be able to render 2K/4K textures in nothing flat. Small time/independent game/film/cfx developers will be able to do some nice projects.

On subject, I could see one of Kirk's builds do a tight clean 4way GPU case...

And sorry GC, if I could afford the extra GPU's I'd be happy to send them, your way. Just to see them in one of your works of art.

Wow! Has it been 3 years!!!! TBH, almost everything was still sitting in place as of today (with some dust build up), soooooo I decided why not finish the project....with a few changes! The cpu, mobo, psu, ram and of course the case will be the same, but the gpu will be a GTX 1070 (air cooled) and only a single SSD.

More to come as some new fans and other parts arrive!

These case are amazing, It's bad because you don't live near me,
I would payed you to design and made case for me more than to CORSAIR for Obsidian 450D and similar cases.

At least I would have unique case from aluminum panels and glass.
I like how you made and connect parts.

These case are amazing, It's bad because you don't live near me,
I would payed you to design and made case for me more than to CORSAIR for Obsidian 450D and similar cases.

At least I would have unique case from aluminum panels and glass.
I like how you made and connect parts.

Thank you for your kind word! It's a passion of mine and I really have fun creating cases and other things!
