.USF for older versions of EVGA Precision X (v. 4.2.1).UXF for newer versions of EVGA Precision X (v. 16.x.x) Jackle80
I know probably a stupid question but how to you use the .USF files when precision X isn't seeing them? It's requiring .UXF format to register? There are some wicked skins here Drerex and I'd love to use them. Please anyone help a newbie out. Last time i used these they popped right in.

Not a stupid question at all. EVGA is behind in the race for GPU monitoring champion if you ask me; it absolutely baffles me as to why they don't have this important information on their F.A.Q. for the Precision X homepage. I guess they assume everyone downloading EVGA Precision X at this time (now nearing the conclusion of 2015) is either a noob [like us] or a longtime devoted fan that didn't get disgusted by the EVGA Precision X 15 fiasco. In other words [I get the impression] they assume that everyone knows the difference between .usf and .uxf and [don't care about the noobs]? Seriously I am a seasoned veteran with google searches, a strong candidate for coining the term "JFGI" and a jedi padawan master in training in google hax, so I know how to do a damn google search and I still had a ****ing hard time finding the answers.
I know I am commenting on this rather late, but it is the first time I myself saw this post.
For you if you ever come back to this, but more so for the average joe reading this I want to make it clear that:
.USF for older versions of EVGA Precision X (v. 4.2.1)
.UXF for newer EVGA Precision X (v. 16.x.x)
the skin tool released will only work with the version 16
the old .USF files will not work with the newer version 16
EVGA apparently had a 'Dude where's my car' moment FOR NOT MAKING THIS CLEARLY IDENTIFIABLE WHEN DOWNLOADING precision x 16.
MYSELF, and many others (new to the world of EVGA) did not know this information and it is hidden deep within the forums to get the correct answer. I seriously tried like 20 different google queries and wasn't able to find it until one day when I wasn't looking I randomly stumbled upon it.
