Just wondering if all of this is normal.

I been running stress test on my 970gtx SSC because I have coil whine and the evga rep recommended me to do this to fix it. So far hasn't worked(had the card since it launched btw). Anyways the fan speed stays at 43% @ 75c at the highest which seems good with normal settings, I mean it isn't loud or anything and its keeping my card cool but Im wondering is this normal?

Also at 100% fan speed, it seriously sounds like a JET, I mean it sounds like an actual old school fan. Wondering if this is normal as well...above 50% I can hear the fans but it isn't super bad.

Thanks

Yes, all of that is normal. If the card is staying cool, which 75 is relatively good at 43% fan speed, then it doesn't need to go faster. Setting it higher would only move more heat away quicker.

If the coil whine doesn't decrease after the stress test, you may look into an RMA to replace it.

If you have coil whine than you can RMA the card. My 970 that I bought in November had coil whine and I just RMA'd it because I decided it was terrible to listen to and the new card hopefully doesn't have an issue.
