I'm sure that every situation is handled differently,  but they setup an advanced RMA and are shipping out a card to me on Monday.  I get to use this card until my replacement card comes.   They are sending me a SC version of the card, and they also are sending me some goodies as well!!!! :D
 
I told you they seriously rock! :)

There's only a very few that knock Evga, but we know different. Evga gets the job done, and are great at helping out it's customers. Evga = FTW!!!!

I had to get my 980 FTW RMA'd with EAR.  I had a brand new card in 3 days.  I even had 14 days to test my new card before I had to send my original card back to assure it worked the way it should.  This is an option when you register your card.  I felt the service was great at the time.   Sounds like you had an issue which they were ready to resolve, but for some reason you wanted them to give you free upgrades for something as simple as a miss placed sticker which they were going to correct i could see why the original rep might have thought it was a good idea to pump the brakes.  Bravo to you for getting all this stuff free and taken care .   To be perfectly honest after reading this thread I feel slighted now as a customer after spending $30 extra on EAR so i wouldn't be without a card and getting back exactly what I paid for after actually getting a defective product in the first place, not just a miss placed serial sticker.  Be sure to enjoy that card to it's fullest that's one expensive toy!

I must be OCD myself since I verify my box number matches my card number every time. I like to make sure I'm getting a new product and not a refurbished RMA when I order a new piece of gear. I was a bit shocked at Rektifying's comments as if it doesn't matter. I'm willing to bet when he graduates to 3 to $4,000.00+ rigs instead of "bargain" boxes and shells out for $400.00+ M/B, $1,000.00 cpu's and $1,000.00+ gpu's his tune very well might change. There's a huge difference between a $,1000.00 box and a $3,000.00+ box and when you are forking over the big bucks for top of the line gear you expect to get what you pay for.
