    Please see this link on compatible memory with x58 motherboards, including SR2. If the memory is not listed, it does not mean it will not work, but simply that EVGA has not tested with your specific memory. You may want to contact G.Skill as well to see if they can confirm your RAM will work in x58 motherboards.

    You would do well to get ECC RDIMMs. It can save days of troubleshooting stability. And don't bother with RAM rated aboce 1800MHz for the SR-2.

    Hello I received the ram Crucial But despite the dealer I have ensured the backwards compatibility my Sr2 does not see all the ram in practice sees 12 to 16 and wrapped windows crashes
    the Rams are these

    16GB kit (4GBx4) DDR3 PC3-14900 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.5V 512Meg x 64
