Hey all, i'm very new at GPU overclocking, been a CPU overclocker for a while but GPU overclocking is new to me.
So i'm using MSI afterburner, and was able to get the core clock up to 1450mhz (aided by GPU Boost 2.0), however when strest testing, it only stays there for around 15 seconds. After that it downclocks permanently to 405mhz until I restart the PC with stock settings.
Why is it doing that?
Here are my settings:
Core Voltage = Stock
Power Limit = 100% (can't go any higher)
Core Clock = +100mhz
Memory Clock = Stock (going to overclock this later, until this core clock issue is fixed)
Fan = Auto (runs at around 42%-45%)
Temps = very safe, no more than 45C.
Specs:
I5-4690K
Asus Z97-A
Corsair Vengeance 8GB 2400mhz
EVGA GTX 750 TI FTW
SeaSonic G series 550W PSU
