Hi guys,

So i have this problem, that i hope someone has seen before, and might help me out with. I've googled some, and i can't seem to find same problem.
What happens is that my PC shuts down by it self randomly. And it is completely random, once it happened while gaming, other times while it was simply idling on desktop.

I've been over to event log and all i can find is that it has experienced unexpected shutdowns, with Event ID: 6008; Level: Error. It doesn't say anything else and doesn't give me more info.

I am runnig:
i7 4790k with Corsaid h60i cooling
Asus Maximus VI Hero
EVGA GTX 780ti
EVGA Supernova g2 850w

    Hello Klusterish,

If not done already, please do make sure the motherboard BIOS is up to date and you are using the latest NVIDIA drivers. Please do try testing the graphics card in another stable system and if possible with another power supply to see if you are having the same issues. Also, you may want to try running few benchmarks like 3d Mark or EVGA OC Scanner X to see if you have any performance or temperature issues.

If you have any further issues or questions, feel free to contact us 24/7 at 1-888-881-3842 or by email at support@evga.com.

I had a similar problem with a completely different setup. Eventually I narrowed it down to memory incompatibility. Did you install any new hardware/software recently?
