Hi! I have the EVGA SC 750 Ti, and was wondering if anyone has any experience overclocking it? I'm using EVGA PrecisionX and can't seem to get a stable OC. Just FYI, this is my first actual PC, been on laptops for ages.

Under the advice from a friend I pushed the GPU Clock Offset up to +50MHz and the Mem Clock Offset up to +350MHz. I've heard others pushing it higher (I am counting the factory overclock) but mine doesn't seem to be that stable at what I just described. Unigine Valley will crash, and a couple of games (Warframe and Titanfall) seem to crash the driver too.

I HAVEN'T tried upping the voltage yet as I'm a little worried about doing so - I don't have the money to replace this - especially since the card draws power from the PCI slot and not the PSU.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help me. ^-^

Hi Zombirate! We in technical support cannot assist with any overclocking but I can tell you this, CPUs and GPUs are subject to the infamous silicone lottery so overclocks will vary from card to card even if they are identical models also the cooling method you are using (air, water, or LN2) affects the limit and the stability of the overclock you are trying to achieve. One more thing to keep in mind is that some games or applications do not like overclocks and may also be capped at a certain performance or may crash during operation. Unigen Valley, Unigen Heaven, and 3Dmark should all work well with CPU and GPU overclocks. You basically just have to play around with it and don't worry about turning up the voltage, in the end the card only draws as much as it needs all you're doing is raising the threshold.

1437.5/6900(effective) is the max for my 750ti sc. 1450/1463 core and 6600 mem were stable, but less performance than 1437.5/6900Mhz @ 1.2v 100W TDP. Since pci-e can provide 75W+ 75W from the 6-pin, I think 100W is a safe medium. I took a few days to find my max OC. Start off small and increase gradually, run a benchmark until you get a crash. then back off 25-30Mhz, until you are stable again and call it done.

Hi @DeathAngel74 - one thing you said has confused me. There is no 6Pin connector on this card. It's PCI-E only.

Huh. That card looks a lot longer than mine. Mine looks like this  - apologies for not using an actual picture but I have no camera.

Weird. Didn't know there were two different versions; I would have gone for the ACX if I'd known.
Back to the topic; without that 6 pin power should I touch the voltage? A friend has said I shouldn't.

I have one probably stupid question too; is crashing the drivers dangerous? I'm a little worried about pushing it too far as I can't replace it but I've also heard that OC'ing without going to ridiculous lengths and without touching voltages is always safe. Little confused.

Zombirate, there are multiple versions, a d you just have the 750 Ti ACX. Death has the 750ti ACX FTW edition, which has a slightly longer cooler and also has a 6 pin power to help provide slightly higher overclocking capability and overall stability.

I've been experimenting with my own custom bios. I think it's finally stable @ 1437.5Mhz/1725Mhz
    (6900Mhz Effective) .9556mV(2d) 1.2V(3d) 105W TDP/Power Limit w/boost 2.0 disabled.
