You know CnC was hands down one of the best if not the best RTS series ever made, I was playing CnC 95 again and man do I wish they would give us a real CnC game again, CnC4 was a joke, and Generals 2 was also not looking good with it not being single player and I'm actually glad it got canned. But why can't they simply make us a true CnC game now, I'm sure if they followed the correct formula of gather tiberium, build base, rush other guy, and included goofy campy CGI movies, we'd all buy it, and would be quite happy. Anyone else really admonish the lack of a real CnC game in the last 7 years.

Like everything EA gets their hands on, Command and Conquer started going downhill as the years progressed. Red Alert sure was great though.

Grey Goo is made by the old CNC guys and has the best soundtrack ever, from none other than Frank Klepacki. Give it a shot, its good.

I very much miss those games too.  CnC the original was a fun game, Kane is what really made it for me,and also the nukes, not those little Starcraft nukes, when NOD said nuke they meant NUKE!  RA1 I have sooooo many late night games, 8 way FFA LAN games and so on, such a wonderful game.... I can still heard  "Mad Tank deployed   Mad Tank Deployed   Mad Tank Deployed"  and hear someone on my LAN game swearing at me while trying to dive bomb them with migs before they blew.  Tiberium Sun was BRUTALLY hard compared to the others, especially Firestorm, but I really did enjoy it, multi was good, but I preferred RA.  RA2 lots of hours in.... Nuke trunks, Kirov's, Prism tanks...ahhh good times, the Generals was a lot of fun as well, didn't do that much multi with it though..., RA3 had parts I really liked, and things I REALLY didn't, it wasn't bad but it wasn't worth playing through more than once though, unfortunately... Tiberium Twilight.... omg where to start.... that game had so much potential and so much fail.  The idea wasn't bad, but the lack of bases and all that, on top of it all, you had to play multi to level enough to beat the game, they even said it in the forums at the time, or coop with someone who could help you on the last mission, you should not have to play multi to be able to finish a campaign, that's just absurd.  Game looked good though.
 
I SO want another CnC, or RA, but don't like the old school games, granted no more Kane, he, I will miss, he was a very entertaining character, but we need another great RTS like that.  Wouldn't mind seeing another Warcraft RTS either, but more like WC2 and less slow/hero-centric like WC3 was.
But yeah, NEED MORE CnC!

Suprememe commander is nothing like CnC, its one of these new fangled RTS games, while CnC is a 90's era RTS with 90's style. Thats why we love it.

I mentioned Grey Goo earlier, guess everyone ignored my post. lol.    Its made by the CNC team, and its CNC, complete with a klipacki sound track. If you liked CNC music, the music he made for Grey Goo is the best he ever made. The game is very well done, def play it if you like CNC RTS games. It even has walls that are usable. The goo faction is also nothing like any faction i ever played in a RTS.

Man, I used to LOVE me some Command and Conquer. I started on Red Alert, then moved up to Red Alert 2 and it's expansion Yuri's Revenge... I was actually really good at that game, I finished as a 3 star general one month. The last Command and Conquer I enjoyed was Generals... C&C 3 with the scrin was retarded. It was all downhill after they got rid of Westwood studios.
 
I'm pretty upset they canceled the Command and Conquer game that was going to be released a year or two ago.
 
Did any of you ever play Emperor Battle For Dune? That game was like Crysis for it's time... You had to have a pretty nice graphics card to play that game when it came out. I remember playing on my VisionTek FX4600Ti.

The F2P CnC that would require you to pay for the best in game units for MP, and was not going to launch with a single player or skirmish mode?

I totally miss Tiberian Sun it was my fav and just C&C in general. Wish it could come back with some vamped up graphics.
