Hello
Would it be a problem to have one EVGA GTX 980 SC and one EVGA GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0 in SLI Mode?
Cooling system could be changed to watercool system.

    Hello Sajin
Thanks for your link, however is showing GTX 970 compatibility only. Looks as it wouldn't work for GTX 980 as well, but is there a link for GTX 980 as well. I couldn't find one.

They should work in SLI just fine. You may get better temps with the reference cooler in the first slot and ACX2 in the second. The cardinal rule for sli is they have the processor(gpu) and equal amount of memory. If speeds are different they will default to the slower card's speed.

I think the same would apply to the 980's. Call EVGA and ask... https://www.evga.com/about/contactus/

    Hi together
Installed the ACX 2.0 and it works properly in SLI mode with the reference 980 SC on a ASUS X99-Deluxe with a i7 5930K. The 980 SC is installed in Slot 1 and the 980 SC ACX 2.0 in Slot 3 as recommended. Temperature while full load goes up to 65°C for the SC and 80°C for the ACX 2.0 what means, I have to find out a better cooling solution I guess.
