My PC Building History -

I got my first taste of building computers in college when i bought a Dell just for online poker and web browsing. I quickly realized i was missing out when it came to immersive gaming so i started doing my research. I couldn't do much with what i had besides upgrading the ram and adding a GPU so my first purchase was a ATI X800XL strictly to play Doom 3 on. I was from that point on hooked on PC gaming and the rest is history. Its been over 10 years now and i have naturally evolved over time with my builds depending on my budget or given life style at the time. I have used all kinds of cases/formats over the years ranging from a Corsair 800D,Silverstone FT03 and a Cooler Master Haf XB. As you can see i like to try different things and always have a vision for the next build. I am married and have a young daughter now so my time i can dedicate to gaming is slim, The plan was to migrate to a case i can appreciate for the next 10 years + and Caselabs was the obvious answer.

Vision For The Build - To build something Clean,Powerful, and Balanced!

There are no plans to water cool at this time, I planned on sticking to a Air Cooled theme this time around!

    Updated 03/21/2015 -

Installed another Enermax Magma Intake Fan, Teleios Dark Red, Red, Black Sleeving Arrived, UV Red Power Connectors Arrived. I am up in the air about using the UV connectors since they are all a slightly different shade of UV Red .

Next movie is to install new ram, 3 more exhaust fans up top and get started on custom sleeving.

CPU Cooler is now in PNP using 2 Noiseblocker PL-PS 140mm PWM -

I ran a few benchmarks and notice up to a 5C temp drop so although that's not much it does have a positive affect.

Fellow S5 user here. Nice evolving setup you've got there!

Just got the same dust filter kit (dust was the only thing about the whole case I didn't like, good move for you doing it up front!...). Curious why you mounted it externally. Was it the aesthetic or convenience?

Any plans on ODD for the bottom slot? (How does your current fan controller setup work?)

I appreciate the positive feedback every one.

I mounted it externally imo for Aesthetics and Convenience, I wasn't fond of the idea i had to mount it backwards inside the case + remove the entire flex bay just to clean it. I am using a ModMyToys Multi 3 Pin Power PCB to power all fans. IMO its much cleaner the using a fan controller since i can hide it anywhere inside the case, I have 7V voltage adapters on order so the 3 Magma fans will be virtually silent and wont need any kind of rpm control. I also plan on ordering a blank cover for that one 5.25'' back that's currently ventilated as i will have no use for it.
