Just put a classified 5930k + 2 x 6gb EVGA 780 system together in a lian li case.  I haven't played around too much (haven't touched ring voltage ring ratio vsa voltage) but I'm getting stable 6x 4.74GHz at 101 x 47 1.35v adaptive, vdroop disabled, vpro/virtualization disabled, all cstates on, HT on.

I have booted and can do most desktop tasks at 4.8ghz which makes me think I may be able to stabilize that but haven't gotten 4.8 to pass intelburntest xtreme mode, booted at 6x 4.95GHz and a single core up to 5.2Ghz.

So that's my story what kind of numbers are you seeing on your EVGA X99s please post configuration details.

Thanks!

    hi mate,

what your current bios version, and can you list the settings you are currently running including your ram timings and voltage

but sounds like your cpu is not receiving enough power, outside chance that your memory timings may not be in sync with you cpu

I'm at bios v 1.06 (edit: meant 1.16), Ram timings are attached.  I'm still trying to screen capture from bios I'm not used to the VSA and Ring Ratio.  Here's where I'm at for 24/7: 4.74Ghz 2422.6, 1:18 FSB:DRAM, 16 16 16 2t.  at 4.74 this thing is solid and doesn't take much voltage.   I got 4 more sticks today does running 8 sticks doesn't degrade OC potential?

having more ram wont affect your ability to oc.

ive noticed that your still on bios 1.06, id recommend that you upgrade it to at least version 1.14 or the current version of 1.16.
once youve done this, run IBT again but this time run it on maximum, if it passes that, then download occt and run their stress test for at least 8 hours
if it passes IBT on max, and occt then ur system is stable.

also check out this post i had put up, found the input provided to me very helpful

So I did have a bit of trouble going to 8 sticks stable at 4.74 1.35v but nothing fatal: I had to go back set everything to XMP 1 and copy all of the ram entries across both banks eliminating auto RAM (auto timings resulted in instability at 4.74) timing settings, then I had to go back and manually set the CPU multi as XMP put it to 37.    Also had to increase voltage to ~1.38 to remain stable with 8 sticks.

As for IBT I use Xtreme Stress mode, right click on start and check xtreme stress mode.  I do see some point in other stress tests later but I'd like to thrash a mechanical drive and not an SSD with lindata, also like to give my CPUs time to break in a bit before running them hard for hours.  Will read the thread.
