Sorry if this is posted somewhere else.  I scanned the Titan X threads and didn't see any dates for the Titan X HC availability.  I have a potential buyer for my Titan Black Hydro Copper cards (he wants 780ti SLI type performance plus the 6GB of ram) and if I can get out of these current cards at a decent price I want to upgrade to the Titan X HC in SLI.  This isn't a rush but timing is sensitive. Anyone here of any availability dates?  Thanks.

Not sure about anyone else, but for me this is an easy answer.  After 10 years of putting water blocks on all my graphics cards (and technically voiding my warranty), I'm lazier now and I like the option of having a high quality OEM water block that comes with a warranty.  My Titan Black Hydro Coppers were my first foray into this HC product line and it has been very positive.  For me, the Titan X Hydro Coppers will be a plug and play swap which makes it even sweeter.

Why would you buy from a company that voids your warranty for installing a waterblock? Buy an EVGA card, get the hydrocopper later, keep the original cooler and screws, no worries. By another company, install waterblock, lose warranty. You don't lose the warranty with EVGA, so why would you purchase anywhere else, lol ;-)

If I had the time to wait I would buy EVGA hydrocopper too. (special situation) I have 3 EK waterblocks in front of me now and 3 Nvidia GTX Titan X and it is REALLY intimidating for me to install them. Having peace of mind and security is worth way more then playing with these cards a few weeks sooner.

My only concerns of the Hydrocopper are RAM as well as VRM cooling and 2 or 3 way SLI bridge support?

The blocks cools everything except the back of the card, just like the blocks you already have, since they are made by the same company.

2-3 way bridge doesn't exist, you would specifically need something like the crystal link.

The purpose of my post is the other user saying he voided his warranty. Why when there is a company that can avoid that.

Having the reference cooler and being able to use the card until a block is available applies from any company. Any. If you buy the Nvidia, MSi version, gigabyte, Asus, Galax... All of them may void the warranty (not sure which will or won't.) the Block is the same for every one of them. The EVGA hydrocopper is made by ek, performing the same (cooling wise) as the ek block, with a shroud and lighting installed. That is the only difference normally.

The hydrcopper will also have more metal, but cools the same and costs more.

well for me it was the stock speeds the hydro coppers had . i still had to change them out with the ek's so i could use my nat wb's on x99 classified . ek's are not as fat by just about 1/4 inch. i know lol i have 4 new titan black hydro coolers in the box my cards came in . and the ek back plates do do passive cooling on the back that the factory ones dont.

I mean why would you buy the HC when you can just buy a regular EVGA card, slap an EK block on it that's the exact same design as the HC except the branding, and save $100.  EVGA says that installing a waterblock won't void their warranty as long as you return it to its aircooled state if you RMA it.  Same thing with MSI.

The part I'm missing is what does the extra $100 buy you over putting a waterblock on it yourself? (aside from the obvious if you just don't want to get out a screwdriver to do it yourself :) )

Easy answer again...I don't want to get the screw driver out and do it myself.

And to expand and reply to the other comment above, and that poster's selective reading skills that focused only on my warranty comment, I also clearly said that I'm lazy and tired of mounting blocks to graphics cards. I've been at this game longer than most folks and in addition to my water/chiller cooled main rig, both my sons and my daughter have had water cooled PCs over the years as has my wife. The time and effort it takes to maintain and plumb 5 rigs with good gaming gear utilizing a combination of new and hand-me-down parts has been more than a labor of love.  And recently I've been looking to simplify my life.  That's more than I needed to explain, and I'm not inclined to worry that anyone else approves.  Suffice it to say I had good success with the HC line last time around and I'm going with it again.

As for warranty, I stand by what I said.  If I have an issue, I will send it back "as is" and not fart around replacing the air coolers, nor would I have wasted my time to begin with mounting a water block :)  To each their own I always say.

How good look this EVGA X99 Classified with waterblock and that SATA connectors and 24pin angled.
I'm so sad because I'm not born in USA, TITAN X Hydro Copper would be first pick for me.
Do you know why? Other people could think NVIDIA will launch GM200 6GB with higher clock, but even with higher clock they can't launch 300MHz higher... Max 120-150MHz faster card...
And TITAN X Hydro Copper is 150MHz faster than reference TITAN X and that would be same...
Such card should cost 600-700e...  I hate them because it's expensive.
And I would bought than TITAN X because than no waiting and delay always custom loop...
    Card can't work without water.
Compare fps on this video, GTX980 SLI, GTX970 SLI, TITAN X and TITAN X OC on 4K...
TITAN X OC can be something as EVGA TITAN X Hydro Copper...
Difference between GTX980 SLI and TITAN X OC look... little...

TITAN X Hydro Copper owners will have excellent hardware.

I buy the hydrocopper blocks because I like the way they look over the normal EK blocks.  Personally I like the full coverage plus I like the logo that lights up.

What's the fetish with Hydro Coppers?  Do you just like the EVGA logo on the block top?

What you are saying makes logical sense financially and other aspects.  For me EVGA is like a drug, I'm trying to wean myself off of it but obviously failing at it.  I even started registering my EVGA products recently :)  Yes for some that extra 100 bucks is worth the EVGA logo carved into the water block.  It just pisses me off that I have to have a friend buy a 2nd card for me so I can SLI the Titan X EVGA hydrocopper when it does come out.  Limit two per household sounds more reasonable at least is my two cents.  I don't know the logic behind "limit one per household", is it let everyone have a taste and leave them hanging or production issues?  At the moment the paved path is downgrade my GTX 980s to a single Titan X to try it out....

Don't hold your breath, Nvidia probably ran out of places to find silicon to make the wafers for the chips :)  Probably due to the increasing silicon demand in Holywood.

Ok this hurts on the Titan X hydrocopper product page....  "Limit 1 per household."  It actually makes me not want to buy any at all, it's a total buzzkill you know?.

They do this because of the trolls the purchase 2 or even 3 when they are available, then as soon as they are out of stock you see them on eBay for 1600+. There was a user trying to sell a regular Titan X for 1400 the other day "because you can't get it anywhere else quicker". Trolls are the reason for limits. Also, new egg may get them in, so you could possibly order from them as well, and not have a second person order for you. It depends on stock and your patience. I don't have the patience to wait an extra 2 months, lol.

they don't have hydrocopper up yet though so can't setup auto notify for it unless you know of a way to do it before they put up a coming soon item for it?  At this point though, I'm not sure I'm going to get Titan X, highly depends on how I feel when they are actually available.

That's the reason why I refuse to support trolls because I see them trying to gouge.

I agree with Anonymous. If I'm being logical, I'll just buy the blocks from EK. And they are staying in stock really well too.
