So my card is hitting a cap of 953mhz, and about 97c running benchmarks, which seems a little off to say the least. Do yall think it just needs to be reset?

furmark is also recording a 953mhz, only GPUz shows correct info

97C is a horrendous temperature to be running your GPU at. It's throttling for temps. You've got a major cooling/thermal issue somewhere.

HeavyHemi is correct.  With temps like those that you are seeing, it would be possible that there is an issue with the fan on your 660SC or  another part of the overall cooling in the case.

Verify that the cooler is working as a place to start and post some pics if you can.

well I reset the HSF temps dropped but its still throttling, I got it to now load in furmark 100% at 81C, but it still won't clock up properly. Strangly GPUz reports the correct speed so hmm
