    Hi,

Thanks for continuing to update this program.

You know what I'm going to ask. Where is the fix for the LCD Font Size? Small size setting, still does not work, and you promised that it would be included in the last 3 versions, 5.3.0, 5.3.1, 5.3.2. Sometimes I feel that you are intentionally taunting the users that are requesting a fix for this  feature that has been broken in every single version of Precision X 16.

Well......All I can say is (like the blonde that saw a banana peel on the sidewalk) HERE WE GO AGAIN!
EVGA is incapable of releasing Precision X that will have OSD actually function in BF4. Same garbage as all the others.
Using Afterburner, I know it is software that really works!
No more EVGA software for me.

I still get the fan speed is N/A and the slider is stuck all the way up on startup with KBOOST on (if Ι reboot the problem disappears).

I know you can select which items you want to monitor BUT is there a way to position them in a specific order in the graph?

Any idea why call of duty MW3 has black screen when this app loads?
I start game, and no picture just sound, but when I exit precision, game runs fine.
Only this game is effected by this behavior.

dmann304: Assuming you weren't trying to show the Precision X OSD (On Screen Display) in the game, then... I suggest this as a workaround: Click OSD to turn it on temporarily, find the new icon in the system tray called "Server", add all of your game's executables to this unlabeled OSD exclusion list, click OK, click OSD again to turn it off, restart Precision X, then see if it resolves your problem.

For me, even though I have OSD set to Off, Precision X blatantly interferes with my game processes, and I have to set up exclusions.

EVGA: Please fix this. Please. OSD set to Off, should mean that it does not interfere with game processes, but it's still interfering!

Ah, that seemed to help. Thanks much. Weird that this game won't play if OSD is on.
I notice the heaven benchmark is listed to in the exclusive list. and whats the
difference between x and the 16?

BF4 should be working. Are you using the Steam version or download version?

The program is made by EVGA, it is called "PrecisionX", the current "series" is 16 (I don't know why they chose 16), and the current version of the 16 series is v5.3.2. Not confusing at all, eh? :)

OSD or monitoring in precision, causing Firestrike to freeze. I thought it was my oVeRClOcK Jacob ;)

EVGA precision x15 (5.0) (note 15 years of EVGA, Precision X15) was the "copy" on unwinders 4.2.1 and caused a lot of issues. They later released 5.1, and people still complained and demanded they remove it, so they did.

At the launch of the 980, the released Precision x16, which is an all in house software wrote specifically by EVGA. It isn't something they started out with, so it is a trial and error phase getting it to work. 5.2.0 was the start of x16, and has been continuing since there and has slowly become better each step, but still doesn't challenge 4.2.1 as well as one would hope. Maybe soon it will be on par, but we must keep in mind that this started as a project, just like anything does, and it takes time. It has only been a little over 6 months and I am sure there is a lot going into coding this properly. I just use 4.2.1 until they have x16 up to speed.

Well so much for the OSD, when I reboot machine, I have to add the exclusion back in the server again. Why
isn't the OSD server keeping the value or setting?

Thank you! I appreciate the response.

Side question: Did you intend for PrecisionX to interfere with processes by default, even if OSD is off? Because, as mentioned, that continues to happen to this day, ruining games like Hearthstone.

BUG / CRASH - reposting here because my stand-alone post was never acknowledged.

Playing Guild Wars 2 the cursor disappears (or black boxes) and then the game crashes - usually within 1 minute, or when waypointing/changing zones. So far this is the only game that I've encountered this issue, but this is my primary game played. OSD is NOT turned on, but I use the keyboard display option.

Uninstalling the latest version of PrecisionX (5.3.2) and installing version 4.2.1 or MSI's Afterburner clears the problem. Nvidia drivers 347.88. EVGA Dark X79 (2.13), i7 3930K, 32GB (8X2GB) 2133 MHz RAM, Crucial M5 980GB SSD, Windows 8.1, EVGA 780 Ti SLI. Logitech G15 with Logitech Gaming Software version 8.53.154.

For reference, please see this GW2 Forum Post.

EDIT: I've verified this same issue occurs with PrecisionX 5.3.1 and 5.2.8 with Nvidia driver 347.44.

As a workaround, can you please try the following, and then report back your results?

    - Click "OSD" to temporarily turn it on
    - Find the new "Server" icon in your system tray, and double click it to open it
    - Use the "Add" button, to add all of your game's executables to this "OSD Exclusion list"
    - Click OK to close the "Server" window
    - Click "OSD" to turn it back off again
    - Exit Precision X, and then re-open it
    - Test to see if your game works now

Basically, for my main games (Hearthstone and iRacing), I have to add them to this "OSD Exclusion list" for them to work properly, even when OSD is off. It's a royal pain of a bug, but so far, the workaround has worked great for me. Did it work for you?

EVGA: Please please please fix this. When OSD is off, it should not be interfering with processes!

I will like to have a reset button for the monitoring windows to initialize the maximum value to 0. The present situation kept the last max value and when we oc I will like to know the new value for the maximum temp for the video card and GPU usage.

I'm runing 2x 780s in SLI (reference design, watercooled with EKWB), and whenever I use the overboost setting, no matter which voltage I set it at, it will automatically bump itself up to the next level whenever I load the saved profile, or even start up precision X 16 (5.3.2). My cards can take 1.3V and still stay at reasonable temps, but I would prefer to keep them around 1.25V, which is impossible since overboost just takes it all the way to 1.3 no matter what...Am I the only one experiencing this, or are the reference design 780s even supposed to be able to utilize overboost?

I bolded and italicized the parts of your instructions that were confusing, howerver I was able to add GW2 and turned off the application detection level in RivaTuner Statistics Server in spite of that. This DID fix the crashing issue in GW2.

NOW EVGA TAKE THIS VERY CONCISE AND EXPLICIT INFORMATION AND DEBUG IT.

Every time I update to the newer version it fails to create the precisionxserver.cfg in the "Profiles" folder and I have to configure the excluded list and OSD position at every start up.
Can somebody copy and past the text in the default precisionxserver.cfg so I can create my own and not worry about having to configure it ever again.
    Thanks!
