So I havent seen any actual PPD numbers from people running Titan X's but from what I heard on the 980's they get 350k-400k a day. Currently my Two Titan X's are showing a roughly estimated 115k PPD combined on the folding at home program. Could anyone please help me figure out what I'm doing wrong here? Thanks.

What work units do you have?  If they say Core x15, that is why.
I can not remember the commands off the top of my head for setting the gpus to run the Core 17's.  I will get back to you asap.

Thanks, and does it matter that I'm using the client provided for by Folding @ Home? Should I download the one in this forum instead?

No, the client is the client no matter which.  it should be 6.3.4

    In the advanced control view:

Click Configure and then go to the Slots Tab:

Double click GPU 1 or GPU 2:  Both need to be updated the exact same.

it will open a dialog box.  Scroll down and make sure that GPU is highlight and then click add:

Another dialog box will open that says Edit Option:

in Name type: client-type (no capitalization or anything, just as it is there)
    Value: beta

and then save the information.  Remember, do this for both GPU's.

Give it 24 hours to run through a few work units and start giving you returns.

Awesome, I checked before and they were Core x15 and I did that and they are x17 now. Thank you so much!

And yes my folding name is matched to my forum ID. I'm helping a friend out with his team currently to get him in the top 6000 to be on the ratings.

Currently the base credit for one of them is 14163 with an eta of 5hr 45mins
It shows my ppd as 108870 currently, but it may take running through a few of them I'm not sure.

I've got a 980 and I'm pulling ~260-280k at stock clocks since this is the only GPU I have to use.

I don't know where you're seeing 350-400K unless they're those guys running on liquid with a nice hefty OC.

How long did it take for your ppd to start registering at 260-280k?

I'm running a 970FTW and it would pull 280K with no oc on it. With an OC I'm up to just over 300K. I would think a 980 would be a little higher.

I came across this thread here. Per this thread, users are reporting between 350K and 660K PPD depending on OC and OS.

I'm getting nowhere near 350k on stock. I wonder what they are using. I've been folding for about two days with two cards and I've managed to get 216979 total... Running almost nonstop.

Wooowwww... I feel so dumb. I just made a passkey and entered it. Now they are showing an estimated ppd of 380k on one and 310k on the other....

    Live and learn?

(As an aside, I have discovered if I want to boost my PPD I can jack up the fan speed and OC this card. How far? Dunno yet)

I'll definitely be jumping back to the EVGA folding team at some point, now that I'm folding with crazy ppd it shouldnt be much longer before I get my friends team pretty high on the rankings.
